LAFF's mission is to work with local partners to provide access to quality education and personal development to vulnerable children and young people in Peru. Our activities include access to quality education, through tutoring and learning support; personal development, through workshops, vocational training, career guidance; and capacity building, to develop the sustainable of local partners.

The charity concerns itself with supporting projects in developing countries to do with education, the alleviation of poverty, care of children, human rights, promoting sport and the environment. The charity operates alongside the Projects Abroad group of companies which arranges worthwhile volunteering experiences in the developing world and it supports the projects they are involved with.

LEAF funds and undertakes projects aiming to reduce the negative impacts of humankind: our major focus is on tree planting and other forms of habitat restoration.

The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. The overriding criterion for assistance being immediate need and financial difficulty for example as a result of illness, bereavement, natural disaster such as earthquakes/floods or in areas of conflict.

RESCUE, FOSTER & ADOPT DOGS OF THE GREAT DANE & GREAT DANE CROSS BREEDS. DANELINE USES 'FOSTER' HOMES ALL OVER THE UK INSTEAD OF KENNELS WHILE WE FIND THE RIGHT HOMES FOR THE DOGS. THE 'FOSTER PARENTS' PROVIDE LOCAL HELP AND ADVICE THROUGHOUT THE ADOPTION AS WELL AS PROVIDING A VITAL LINK IN THE AFTERCARE SERVICE. WE ALSO MAKE GRANTS TO & ASSIST OTHER UK REGISTERED CHARITIES WITH SIMILAR PURPOSES.

Training health professionals and providing courses in the management of severe injury, using only the resources available in the developing world.

The relief of poverty and suffering wherever possible both locally and overseas, mainly from donations by the parishioners of Catholic Leamington (St Peter's Leamington, St Joseph's Whitnash, Our Lady's Lillington) for projects commended by them.

We support the disadvantaged in certain developing countries as detailed in our report and accounts. We cannot reply to unsolicited requests for help.

Aid to children and young adults in poor countries for education and in some cases for costs of living

Computers for Charities provides IT / Educational support to UK and Overseas Charities and Voluntary organisations. Primarily as developers of educational and vocational initiatives to aid registered organisatons. Supply of refurbished equipment and resources. Plus involvement of humanitarian aid where required.

The promotion of the education of children from Spanish speaking Latin American countries

We help children and families access treatments that improve health and life experiences when not readily available through statutory bodies like the NHS. This is achieved through developing programs that provide vital emotional and practical support.

Support two bush missions in southern Chad and two missions near Lima, Peru with financial aid to provide food, basic education facilities and building wells and dispensaries. Direct supply of medicines from the UK.
