The Green Backyard is a vibrant community gardens open to everyone. We are passionate about health, wellbeing and sustainability. We host a market garden run by Project Abundance, we work also with individuals, site partners and groups from across Peterborough. On site we also host a refill shop, bike repair project, men's shed, children's groups and various educational workshops and activities.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people living or working within theadministrative area of Peterborough City Council or living outside that administrative area but wishing toavail themselves of the benefit of or to access the services offered by GLADCA, who are socially excludedon the grounds of their ethnic origin and to relieve the needs of such people

FOWS run fundraising events such as raffles, summer fayre and discos. The money raised is used to fund extras for the school such as bike racks and playground markings.

Bringing parents, children and community together. We have for example funded the refurbishment of theswimming pool and annual village fireworks event in association with the local church

The advancement of the Christian religion and values in Peterborough, the United Kingdom and around the world; to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the area served by the Greatness of the Eternal Church without distinction of back ground; to promote education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation

The Peakirk Village Hall Management Committee encourages the use of the hall for social, educational, recreational, sporting and fund raising activities. The Committee is also responsible for maintaining the hall to an acceptable standard, complying with health and safety regulations along with raising the funds to pay for all the running costs, essential maintenance and improvements.

We raise money to purchase equipment for the school.

Providing a Village Hall for Village groups to use

Fund raising events are organised throughout the year, to raise money for John Clare Primary School. The money is spent on suggested items or activities made by the school, with a majority vote in agreement by the committee.

Founded in 1973, The Deepings 1090 Round Table meets fortnightly and is currently 14 members strong. Throughout our 35 year history, we have raised significant sums for charity with over -ú100,000 being raised in the last 10 years alone. The Deepings 1090 Round Table is affiliated to the Round Table for Britain and Ireland

works to support the neighbourhood and provides facilities for pre-school ,carpet bowls ,karate and other groups.

Recreational and competitive running for all abilities.

Extended Hands works with isolated and marginalised women who need emotional (mental), social and practical support within the Peterborough area.

The Village Hall for the villages of Wansford, Thornhaugh and Stibbington. Used by numerous groups for meetings and activities.

The Association manages the day to day running of the village hall. The committee is made up of representatives from all the clubs and societies within the village that use the hall on a regular or ad-hoc basis

We fundraise and work with partners, so OA Foundation can offer grants and advice for enrichment programmes, via OA academies, that inspire Olive academy pupils and their families. Programmes supported involve extended learning opportunities, not activities that form part of the formal curriculum.

Hiring a Village Hall for the purposes of educational and social activites

The committee hold various events to fundraise throughout the year. The events held are amongst others - Xmas Fete, Summer Fete, School discos, sponsored events.
