Running upkeep and maintenance of Maxey Village Hall

All activities are grouped under communities of interest, underpinning all we do is faith and spirituality, branches and deaneries organize special services and as a diocese we provide prayer materials, organize quiet days and retreats.

The Mayor of Peterborough chooses local charities to raise money throughout their term in office,this is done by donations and holding events

Hire of Hall for all different activities in the Community i.e. Pre-school, CarpetBowls, Scrabble, Dancing, Bingo etc.

Raise funds to meet the aspirations for Islamgarh Welfare Trust (IWT,) which provides primary health care and community education facilities for the poor and needy people in and around the town of Islamgarh in Mirpur, AK, Pakistan. The IWT has just completed construction of a Community Hospital.

We put on live concerts of classical orchestral and chamber music in the geographicalarea of the Diocese of Ely.We also hold at least one orchestral workshop a year, open to any member of the public whohas reached Grade 5, to play alongside members of the orchestra.We also from time to time provide outreach workshops at local schools, always in associationwith the school management.

For the last 50 years we have been supporting primarily the Italian community as well as other ethnic communities in the city. We visit the sick (home/hospital). Our house is a place of prayer for those in need. We support Catholic Chaplaincy in prison as well as visiting people in work places and are involved in youth programs. We also support special projects in Africa & Brazil.

The club builds model railways, largely for display purposes. Its layouts are available for charities to raise funds. Layout building enables skill transfer for the many aspects of model making, including woodwork, electric circuitry, analogue and digital propulsion control, detailed model and scenic construction. Heritage displays are mounted as well as regular contributions to major exhibitions.

To raise funds to provide nursing care and equipment for patients nursed under the Peterborough Hospital At Home Scheme

HOLDING REGULAR SERVICES TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE COMMUNITY.

We are a Christian Organisation engaged in religious activities. We are also Engaged in various community work within our authority i.e Youth Programs and Community Cohesion and integration.

To provide a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants without distinction of sex or of political ,relegious or other opinion

The charity's objectives are:(a) to arouse and foster interest in the Cathedral throughout the Diocese and beyond; and(b) to assist with funds to preserve the fabric of the Cathedral and associated buildings and to assist in the preservation and enrichment of the ornaments and furnishings of the Cathedral and the maintenance and development of its worship and mission.

The society's objectives are to educate the public in dramatic & operatic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts, to assist and further charitableinstitutions and charitable purposes as the trustees shall decide from time to time and in accordance with their charitable status.

The Community Centre is available for all different Activities which include Bowls, Whist,Line Dancing,Keep Fit Classes and pre school it is also available for weekend hire for functions such as Weddings and birthday parties. We also have a meeting room.

Community Cohesion, supporting diversity, heritage and community education in Greater Peterborough

To advance the education of the public in general (and particularly the local community) about local history (particularly concerning farming, land drainage and military) mainly through the preservation and restoration of artefacts (and particularly "Buffalo LVT4" amphibious landing craft) and the provision of talks and tours for public benefit

This Charity was established to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Woodston, Peterborough and of the surrounding areas. This is achieved by advancing education, providing recreation and leisure facilities and promoting chartiable purposes throughout the community.

Provision of a hall for social, recreational and educational meetings for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Orton Waterville and its vicinity.

Christian activities associated with St Peter's Maxey and the village of Maxey

Weekly Friday sermons catering for muslim families, delivered in both Arabic and English to cater for British muslims.Hold weekly classes in Arabic languages,memorising the Quran, teaching islamic Jurisprudence in English and Arabic.Family counselling to mediate to resolve problems. Currently, all our classes are free to encourage attendance and participation.Prayer during Ramadan.

Supporting ecumenical Christian activities and networking in the County of Northamptonshire (including Rutland) and City of Peterborough

The object of the charity is to maintain the village hall for the benefit of the village and surrounding communities

Overall management of the Village Hall which is then made available to rent on an occassional or regular basis to a variety of local charities, playgroups, clubs, associations and private individuals.
