The charity provides grants for the relief of persons under the care of chest physicians in the East Dorset Health Authority. Such grants are provided for the development and equipping of thoracic units in the area and for research and training of appropriate staff.

Provide Early Years Education to children from aged 2 years to 4 years old.

Routes to Roots is a drop-in centre for those experiencing homelessness, newly homed and vulnerably housed adults in Poole. R2R provides a drop in centre and hot lunch Mon-Fri, showers, washing facilities and offers signposting to other agencies.

Furthering the objects of the charity

Provides a safe and secure environment in which pre-school children can develop mentally, physically and socially in a Christian atmosphere. Fundraising activities to enable us to achieve this, and provide additional child support when necessary.

Varied Youth Work, mainly in schools, across Dorset

Regular worship meetings are held on Sunday and Thursday where the word of God (bible) is taught. We also host quarterly leadership training events for the church workforce and the training is open to the public free of charge. We host Open Air Worship (Easter and Summer time) to show the love of Christ by giving out free food, clothes, sleeping bags, drinks and other amenities.

The principal purpose of Cornerstone Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. Activities include regular public worship, prayer and learning together from the Bible to nurture Christian disciples. We encourage charitable social action (UK and abroad) to share the love of Christ and the good news of the Gospel with others.

RELATE BOURNEMOUTH PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT RELATIONSHIPS. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLING, FAMILY COUNSELLING, SEX THERAPY, SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES, LIFESKILLS TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AND MEDIATION.

Access Dorset is a member led organisation of disabled people, older people, carers and other users of support. In partnership with twenty local organisations we provide a Center for Independent Living providing information, advice, peer support and advocacy. We are currently bringing our website alive with a project that introduces peer support videos and citizen journalism online.

We support young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity in Dorset, including Bournemouth and Poole. We also raise awareness of the challenges face by this group of young people to reduce incidences of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

To educate, share and grow, so we can reconnect members of our community with nature, with food and with each other.We want to work together to build an abundant, circular food system and a culture of storing, reusing and redistributing food surplus. To do this, we focus on four areas: education, community, access to food and environment.

Bournemouth Blind Society operates a Sight & Hearing Resource Centre; Community Support; Befriending Service; Emotional Support; Sight Awareness Training and provides activities for blind and partially sighted people from its centre in Moordown, Bournemouth. The Society also actively works with the hard of hearing. It promotes independent living and encourages members to remain in their own homes.

The charity advances the Christian Faith through worship, teaching and evangelism to all ages, and it also focusses much of its attention trying to meet specific needs in the local community as well as the poor and needy in the UK and overseas.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by assisting through the raising and distribution of funds and the provision of facilities for the playing and coaching of sport and which will be in memory of Steve Bernard.

(a) To support and relieve people affected by multiple sclerosis in the Bournemouth and East Dorset area;(b) To encourage people affected by multiple sclerosis to attain their full potential as members of society by improving their conditions of life.We operate a centre in West Parley where people with multiple sclerosis can meet, exercise & socialise with each other.

Conservation & restoration of the red squirrel to the south west of England

To promote in the Parish the whole mission of the Church, Pastoral evangelical ecumenical and social. Regulat worship open to all takes place in Church and one day a week at Melton Court.Various activities are held regularly during the year for all ages and abilities, this includes a coffee morning on Tuesdays along with the Spring, Summer, and Christmas fairs

The charity is for providing and assisting service personnel to more effectively perform their roles within the Armed Forces of the Crown by providing and supporting social activities, sporting and adventure training and associated facilities.
