We benefit the public by - organising weekly services and spiritual activities that are open to all - supporting refugees and asylum seekers, by giving pastoral care and help them integrate into the British society - running family-friendly events, - and volunteering.

THE OBJECTIVES OF 54th PORTSMOUTH SCOUT GROUP ARE AS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION. THE PURPOSE OF THE SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL,INTELLECTUAL,SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

Denmead Brass are a community brass band based in Denmead. We perform locally at concerts, competitions, garden parties and charity events. We have a thriving training band led and assisted by current band members.

The charity undertakes activities to advance the education of the public and beekeepers of the importance of bees in the environment and the craft of beekeeping, and to promote and further the craft of safe and ethical beekeeping within Portsmouth and the surrounding district.

Provides an opportunity and avenue for amateur singers, dancers and actors to appear on stage in front of the general public. Educates and entertains the members and friends of the society and theatre going public with musical shows from the past and present in Fareham and local area, Hampshire.

Curtain Up Productions put on musicals, plays, pantomimes, murder mysteries and concerts which we make as accessible to all members of the public as possible.We are a friendly group and welcome new members from all walks of life.Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays in Rowlands Castle.

We offer the opportunity for members to attend any of over 50 groups covering any activity where sufficient interest has been shown, this can be in peoples homes or more formal venues, dependent on numbers interested. Members are welcome to lead an interest group or assist in it. Our activities range from Walking, Cribbage, Choir, Geneology, Art, Fishing, History & Psychology to name but a few.

Community Centre used by all sections of The Scouts, youth athletics, martial arts classes, children's parties and more.

Provide environmental activities for all ages and parts of the local community, maintain a community garden, sell refreshments and hold various community events and activities throughout the year. We also serve as a channel of communication between local residents, Portsmouth City Council and Community Police and other interested parties. Our facilities and events are run solely by volunteers.

THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC, OPERATIC AND MUSICAL ARTS, AND TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN SUCH ARTS.

The charity's principal activity is the restoration of Wymering Manor, a Grade II* listed building, in Wymering, a socially and economically deprived area of the City of Portsmouth.

Grants to individuals in need of financial assistance who are of the Jewish faith and primarily attend the Portsmouth and Southsea Hebrew Congregation.

We are a local choir of 80 members. We perform at a variety of local events in & around Portchester.Our outreach group goes into care homes etc to get the audience singing along with us to some good old songs. We put on an annual summer concert and invite local residents.

Enabling Schools to provide Hockey coaching as part of the curriculum and/or as an after School Activity. Also encourage participation in organised competitions with other schools.Provide small grants or equipment to help young players enter the world of Hockey or to achieve there ambitions to be the best they can be at the sport.
