THE OBJECTIVES OF 54th PORTSMOUTH SCOUT GROUP ARE AS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION. THE PURPOSE OF THE SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL,INTELLECTUAL,SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

Provide events for Court Lane Infant School Children and families for entertainment and fundraising purposes. All funds raised are invested into the school in collaboration with staff and children. Past events include, Christmas Fayres open to the public, Summer Picnics, School Discos and Christmas Cards.

We are a charitable amateur dramatic society established in 1953.We have four productions a year ranging from Comedy, Drama, Musicals, and of course the annual Pantomime.Travelling shows are also performed raising money for various local community projects

for the public benefit,the advancement of amateur sport by promoting the game of bridge for the benefitof the residents of Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the surrounding area;

To advance the Christian religion in the Uk and other parts of the world for the benefit of the public through the holding of International Conferece, Evangelistical crusade, prayer meeting, couple seminary, lectures, gospel music concerto and youth events etc.3. Rasing awarness in England and in the world about strategies for controling diseases.

Provides an opportunity and avenue for amateur singers, dancers and actors to appear on stage in front of the general public. Educates and entertains the members and friends of the society and theatre going public with musical shows from the past and present in Fareham and local area, Hampshire.

Curtain Up Productions put on musicals, plays, pantomimes, murder mysteries and concerts which we make as accessible to all members of the public as possible.We are a friendly group and welcome new members from all walks of life.Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays in Rowlands Castle.

Various activities, singing, games, and lunches. Day trips to various venues. Members transport which delivers them door to door.

Raising of funds from members and public. Principal fund raising activity is annual Golf Day.Funds raised are expended in support of charitable activities in the Portsmouth area and for overseas charities including hospitality for the elderly, support fo children's activities, medical charities etc.

General charitable works, fundraising through community events to provide educational and religious support to both African and local groups.

Our PTA works with the school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of activities and events. For example, organising school fayres, Eco Balloon races, discos, an Easter egg hunt and providing refreshments at school events.

Grants to individuals in need of financial assistance who are of the Jewish faith and primarily attend the Portsmouth and Southsea Hebrew Congregation.

To advance the education provision of the Mary Rose School by providing and assisting in the provisions of support and funds.To foster extended relationships between parents, staff and others associated with the school and to engage in fundraising activities which support the school and promote the welfare of the pupils.All funds are applied for the benefit of the school.

Protecting environment of area from Chichester Harbour to the Needles for the benefit of present and future generations

BPF provides a support network and accessible opportunities for early-career, lens-based artists and curators in south east England. BPF promotes outstanding new talent, encouraging ambition and fostering creative entrepreneurship amongst its growing networks. BPF delivers a biennial festival in Brighton & Hove as well as year-round public engagement and artist support programmes.

Provide environmental activities for all ages and parts of the local community, maintain a community garden, sell refreshments and hold various community events and activities throughout the year. We also serve as a channel of communication between local residents, Portsmouth City Council and Community Police and other interested parties. Our facilities and events are run solely by volunteers.

THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC, OPERATIC AND MUSICAL ARTS, AND TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN SUCH ARTS.

The Hellenic School of Portsmouth is a supplementary language school offering tuition in the Greek language, to school age children in Portsmouth and surrounding area.

The charity's principal activity is the restoration of Wymering Manor, a Grade II* listed building, in Wymering, a socially and economically deprived area of the City of Portsmouth.
