To further, improve and diversify the community facilities of Canolfan Pennal To the benefit of the residents of Pennal district. To advance the facilities available to the community offering a range of activities.

Responsible for running community hall.

Fund raising included Skittles night, Bingo night, Raffles, Open Garden, Coffee Mornings, Bag Packing at local Supermarkets, Shop and Local table top sales and the Hospital Tea Trolley.

Custodians of recreation ground and playing field held in trust for community of Llanfair Caereinion to enhance quality of life.

Raises money for Montgomery Primary School for the benefit of all children who attend the school - purchase of equipment for the use by these children.

PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION FOR ELDERLY PERSONS

We support young acoustic musicians with educational and early career opportunities by way of awarding grants to music institutions and community groups and individuals and running guitar workshops and facilitating training and distributing transcriptions of music

After school club providing childcare for school age children at the end of the school day, operated from the school premises.

Cylch Meithrin Llanbrynmair is a Cylch Meithrin established to serve the children of Llanbrynmair. Located in the Community Centre, in a room suitable adapted with appropriate facilities and appropriate parking facilities.Cylch Meithrin Llanbrynmair registered with the Care and Social Services inspectorate of Wales for 14 Boys and girls.

The charity provides and manages a community building where several groups such as youth, life long learning, fitness and health classes meet.

The charity exists to develop relationships between staff, parents and other organisations supporting the school. It supports activities which encourage children and parents to participate together. These include: Bingo: Quiz nights: Summer Fair: Christmas Fair: Ceilidh. The charity also supports the school financially with other school activities and projects.

The aim of the Society within Mothers' Union is to be especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and the Christian family life.

We received a grant to carry out extensive refurbishment to the hall.

In Crickhowell the club carries out fund raising events: running the annual Duck Race, to raise funds for local and international charities recognised by Rotary. We also participate in organising Rotary "Youth competitions and Youth Leadership Awards.

Bryngwyn RDA Group provides riding opportunities for children and adults with additional needs.The Group provides sessions every Thursday and alternate Saturdays for people to come and ride . Stable management sessions can be arranged for those who do not wish to ride. The sessions are led by experienced instructors and supported by a team of trained volunteers.

As well as competing at both local and national levels in brass band competitions, we provide music for the local community together with music tuition for all ages especially disadvantaged youngsters as well as providing historical information to heritage groups, keeping alive the tradition of colliery bands. We provide concerts for other charities, veteran and senior citizen groups.

Our activity is to provide TLC Bears to A & E and Hospital Departments through the South Wales area
