To help elderly people in the parish

We provide groups that allows an open forum for faith development. Training for ministers, spiritual healers/reiki practitioners. Groups for meditation, young persons work and an internet presence on social networking sites. We also support smaller charities and groups with guidance and advice on faith matters and some small financial assistance/finding.

Organisation of events relating to and in support of local agriculture. At present, the organisation is in abeyance, due to lack of support

We rent out allotments to raise money for the Labouring Poor of the old Parish of Cefnllys, within Llandrindod Wells

To develop links between the communities of Brecon & Molo in Kenya. To further charitable purposes for the benefit of the said inhabitants, in particular but not exclusively, the - relief of poverty; advancement of education; promotion of equality & diversity; relief of sickness & the preservation & protection of health; promotion of racial harmony; promotion of sustainable development.

Promote and maintain the welsh culture and public awareness in the arts.

The provision of 'Active Social Meetings' at a number of local venues at least once per month at each venue. We facilitate the use of Community Halls and similar places for socially isolated residents to meet and share interests and hobbies, or just chat. The intention is to encourage the development or expansion of personal support networks in the very rural area of the West of Radnor.

Support and assistance to visually impaired people throughout Breconshire,activities include:Making grants for equipment etc to individuals and groupsOperating a "friendly phone" service to the sight chalengedIssuing a CD & tape based quarterly nrwsletterOrganising escorted coach outings to blind persons resource centres and other solial destinations.

Distributions for the benefit of the aged and deserving poor of the parish of Glascwm

Distribution to aged and deserving poor inhabitants of Glascwm.

1) to advance the education of the public in First Aid and defibrillation2) the protection and preservation of life through the provision of community public access defibrillators.3) supporting our community by using technology and team skills to identify, collate and publish information during adverse events

The Charity is used for the benefit of persons of either sex resident in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Machynlleth who have not attained the age of 25 years, who, or whose parents are communicants of the Church in Wales, and who, in the opinion of the Trustees, are in need of financial assistance.

Distribution to aged and deserving poor inhabitants of Glascwm.

The trustees must apply the income of the Charity in furthering the following objects (?the objects?):"To promote health and advance education, particularly physical education, for young people up to the age of 21 in Montgomery in the County of Powys, in particular through the provision of grants to organizations undertaking recreational and sporting activities with young people.?

Local village meeting of members providing training, interest and support to local members and events consistant with the WI Charter.

Hire of building/Facilities

A variety of fund-raising events that provide support for the children who attend Ysgol Y Mynydd Du.

MANAGEMENT OF WOOD FOR BENEFIT OF LOCAL COMMUNITY

Friends of Llangynidr Preschool support preschool in the village of Llangynidr, Powys. Grants are available, on request, to support education based learning through play. Friends will also support running costs as well as classroom equipment.
