KHS Friends aim is to develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with Kirkleatham Hall Special School, based in Redcar in the North East of England. Also to engage in activities or provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We aim to alleviate poverty at Christmas time within Teesside, we aim to providethe eldery in residential care homes, who are without family, with gifts at Christmas tobrighten their day and remind them that people are thinking of them.

We promote the advancement of arts education and appreciation and support the preservation of our artistic heritage. These aims are realised through the monthly lectures, study days and outings for our members and volunteer activities which include local conservation projects, Church Recording and Young Arts projects for local young people.

Encouragement of Choral Singing within the community. Weekly rehearsals throughout the year (except school holidays). Normally performing three concerts a year, using local soloist, where possible and as appropriate.

Our aim is to provide a warm & friendly environment where children can spend quality time with their parents/carers. They can enjoy a varied programme of activities which promote the children's personal, social, emotional physical & intellectual development. We run three sessions a week for babies up to nursery school age children.

Encourage all amateur musicians, particularly youth. Create a welcoming environment, striving for individual and collective music improvement. Improve and maintain links with the local community and local bodies, through production of a concert programme. The Society organises a season of classical piano music concerts by International Artists from October to Easter.

The Saltburn Valleys CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) promotes the conservation, protection and improvement of the land, gardens, woodlands, walkways, play areas, waterways, wildlife and natural environment, historic monuments and properties in the Saltburn Valleys.

Our mission remains that of enabling children and young people to develop emotionally,physically ,socially and educationally by taking part in a range of activities at Carlton Outdoor Education Centre. In particular we are dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Clean Planet are a group of skilled professional divers that aim to survey and remove Ghost Gear from the sea around the North East Coast of England, In the winter months we have a group of volunteers that survey and remove Ghost Gear that washes ashore on our coastline.Once removed the gear will be stripped down and sent away for recycle instead of it going into landfill

We raise funds & make donations in support of both local & national good causes. We make contributions to Rotary International's Polio Plus programme dedicated to the eradication of world polio. We contribute to the Rotary International Foundation, which aims to advance world understanding, goodwill, & peace through the improvement of health, the support of education & the alleviation of poverty.

We deliver Relationship and Sex Education in secondary and primary schools. We use prepared multimedia presentations appropriate to the ages of the children in each age group.

We run various fundraising events which involve the children and parents from the school, including shopping evenings, children's discos, fayres, sponsored events and family nights.
