We employ staff & provide support to the local Methodist Churches for people to meet together for worship & teaching. We encourage & support the Churches in their mission to serve their local communities; e.g youth clubs, luncheon clubs, toddlers groups. We manage projects with specific vulnerable groups within our communities - young people, children & families, refugees & people seeking asylum.

THE CHARITY IS A COMMUNITY AND EDUCATION CENTRE AS WELL AS PROVIDING PLACE FOR RELEGIOUS ACTIVTIES.

One Community Link ( OCL) is a charitable organisation supporting Black , Asian and Global Majority in Tees Valley, people living in poverty, including people seeking asylum, migrants and refugees. We exist to promote social integration by raising awareness about hate crime and empower BAGM to report, offering English classes and develop anti racism and Inclusion in Tees Valley and the wider UK

IN A MANNER WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH THE FAITH AND PRACTICE OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

The activities of the charity are to provide food and support including the provision of guidance , advice and assistance on health, employment and welfare matters to asylum seekers in the Tees Valley

Tees Valley Arts is a charity that uses the arts to create social change. We believe that arts & culture create societies and offer challenges to the status quo. Communities have a right to tell their stories which reflect their past and will shape their future. We will act as a catalyst for all communities to become cultural producers, galvanising creative action and championing positive change.

Fundraising events, cultural & religious activities. Day centre for elderly & disabled, including serving vegetarian meals & outings at periodic intervals.

The Society offers a Social Centre, Home Visiting Scheme, Shopping Escort Service, Luncheon Club, Telephone Befriending Service, Equipment and Information Home Visiting Service, and Outings.

Tees Valley Youth for Christ continues to provide both formal and informal social and Christian Education through schools work, detached youth work and centre based youth programmes.

We are committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship in our churches and to become part of the parish community. We offer opportunities to learn about the gospel; we provide pastoral care; we have outreach work.We also provide opportunities for social gatherings with some special care for the elderly.

STAMP Revisited is a user-led organisation which provides a range of advocacy services and emotional support to people living within the boundaries of Middlesbrough, Redcar & East Cleveland, and Stockton-On-Tees. We support those who are aiming to improve their life circumstances and who would otherwise find it difficult to organise the support they need to remain independent and well.

Home - Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children, in local communities. Volunteers, who are usually parents themselves are recruited and trained to visit families at home who have at least one child under 5, to offer them informal, friendly and confidential support.

The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to improve the health and well being of the people of Stockton, Thornaby and surrounding areas, through the provision of education, training and workshops in nutrition and healthy cookery.

We protect the natural environment of the North York Moors and wildlife it supports.We build resilience in people and nature. We enhance health and wellbeing by connecting people and communities in the North York Moors and surrounding areas with nature and each other. We keep local tradition and heritage alive. We host projects, work in partnership, and provide grants and awards.

TVRA works with rural communities to enable them to identify and respond to local needs; provides direct support to groups and individuals through advice and guidance, organises activities, deliver services, e.g. community transport; informs and influences local policy; highlight rural issues; develop and participate in appropriate partnerships; commissioning relevant research and development.

Real Lives: Real Choices supports adults with learning disabilities throughout County Durham and the north east of England in achieving their aspirations and goals through the provision of support, advice, information, training and learning opportunities

We aim to help communities, especially those most marginalised and disadvantaged, influence health and social care planning and delivery to more accurately reflect local needs and aspirations.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts, including the arts of drama, mime, singing and music. To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Saltburn by the Sea and the neighbourhood by encouraging interest in the arts and artistic activity in the area.

The provision of regular acts of worship open to members of the church and non-members. The provision of sacred space for prayer and contemplation. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Pastoral work for the visiting the sick and bereaved. The conducting of marriages and christenings, open to members and non-members. Serving the local community in the town

The church has managed to carry out its obligation of tythething and supported charitable giving in excess of 11%. It has also maintained it obigation to the Church of England through its Freewill Giving. It has been involved locally by having invited the neighbours and local residendce to social activities.

Weekly drop-in sessions offer friendship, practical and emotional support with access to clothing and household goods. The Welcome session gives new clients essential information about their locality.Clients practice their spoken English at Come & Chat and share lunch together. A games afternoon, two Health & Fitness sessions and football coaching give our clients recreational opportunities.

Our mission is to give families from the UK affected by the devastating impact of cancer, a much needed break from long hospital stays, traumatic medical procedures and cancer related treatments ? so that they may spend quality time together recuperating and enjoying life as a ?normal? family ? strengthening relationships and creating lasting happy memories.

Apart from a place of worship our charity deliver some educational and advice and support activities. Our charity provide free meal particularly during sunday lunch time. Anybody from any community can access this facility.
