Fundraising to support school activities.

The Fund provides money to pay the salaries of nine teachers and a cook at the Rainbow School at the J L Zwane Centre in Guguletu, Western Cape. It also pays for about half of an administrator's salary and for a small amount of other overheads. The Rainbow School provides after school teaching and homework facilities to augment the effectiveness of the existing nearby primary schools.

To help and assist in re-homing Springer Spaniels to good approved homes , to aid and advise owners with problems with Springer Spaniels especially to help an owner to keep their dog rather than re-home it where appropriate . To ensure that the dogs recieve any veterinary care required before re-homing , assess the welfare requirements of the dogs and advise prospective new owners accordingly.

Educational - Provision of performance opportunities for amateurs of all ages in the arts of music, dance and speech

FUND RAISING TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE RUSSELL SCHOOL.

The aims and objectives of the Orchestra is the enjoyment, practice and public performance of orchestral music by amateur players from the local and surrounding communities.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The objects of the charity are: To advance the education of the pupils of Collis Primary School by providing funds to:a) Maintain sports facilities and improve recreational facilities;b) Establish new buildings, maintain and/or make improvements to existing buildings and enrich the school environment and;c) Provide items and services in furtherance of said object as trustees see fit.

We support inspirational music projects which actively preserve and promote a community's cultural music heritage while also discovering and nurturing new, emerging talent. We are currently supporting a cultural music heritage project in East Africa called Singing Wells. Provides First Aid Training to the Public, employees and self employed.Provides First Aid cover at events.Provide training in Citizen Emergency Response Training.Let training space to charity and local community groups to provide income to cover rent to local authority for training and meeting facilities.

Our charity raises funds, primarily from social activities, which are used to fund events and expenditure for the benefit of the pupils of Hampton Wick Infant and Nursery School.

a) To promote public education in, and appreciation of, Baroque music (particularly Baroque Opera) through public concerts, study days and full-scale productions;(b) To encourage and provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to develop through participation in the performance and enjoyment of live performances of Baroque music.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the sports of skiffing, punting, rowing and general water sports in the borough of Spelthorne.

Each year the incumbent Mayor raises money for a named charity/charities. All proceeds are paid over to the named charity/charities at the year end. All administrative costs are borne by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Raising funds for either individuals, organisations or other existing charities both local, national or international. Our events are run both entirely for our own fund raising purposes or in conjunction with other like minded organisations. We have no specific limitations on who we do support or who we not support.

A charity to advance the education of young people and promote the efficiency of the armed forces of the Crown, in particular but not exclusively by making grants to support the charitable activities of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets in Surrey Wing (being the grouping of Air Cadet squadrons in Surrey).

The Society promotes and advances the education of the public in the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts by holding lectures, and organising visits to places of artistic interest. It also makes grants to local organisations which educate the public about the decorative and fine arts.

The Barnes Literary Society offers a regular opportunity for people with an interest in literature to hear and question writers and speakers on a wide variety of literary topics. We also organise visits to places of literary interest and offer a forum for the discussion of literary topics.

Screen renowned international films in their original language; i.e. subtitled

We organise several outings each year for our visually-impaired members, hold monthly social evenings, with talks and quizzes, and arrange regular hydrotherapy sessions for interested members. We run an advice line & offer support to our members as well as a drop-in information service at our offices.
