SOS Kit Aid is an award winning charity that collects second hand/new rugby kit from UK schools, clubs, kit manufacturers and recycles it to disadvantaged youngsters in over 60 countries. Since 2001 we have sent 8 million pounds of kit for 250,000 disadvantaged youngsters.Sponsored mainly by World Rugby.We have also saved over 1500 tonnes CO2 emissions too by recycling.

CHW supports children and youth in less developed parts of the world, through giving grants to local organisations, which work with children and young people everyday. Grants are given to projects which relieve poverty, advance education, relieve sickness and promote good health and offer recreational activities which develop the children's and young people' skills and capabilities.

We carry out our objects by receiving donations from members of the public and distributing these to refugees, both in the local community and across the world. Primarily the charity runs an annual shoebox appeal, collecting and sending in the region of 10,000 gift filled shoeboxes to Romania. It also holds various fundraising events to fund the same, and administers a child sponsorship scheme which helps the children who receive the shoeboxes to access education.

The principal object of the charity is to relieve the suffering of animals worldwide, but particularly in Eastern Europe and Asia, who are abandoned, abused, stray or otherwise in need of care and protection. This is achieved by assisting the provision of and directly providing funding and other support for animal adoption programmes throughout the world together with related activities

The charity concerns itself with supporting projects in developing countries to do with education, the alleviation of poverty, care of children, human rights, promoting sport and the environment.
