The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. The overriding criterion for assistance being immediate need and financial difficulty for example as a result of illness, bereavement, natural disaster such as earthquakes/floods or in areas of conflict.

We support: elderly people with food, medicine and wood, a Christian Centre & Music School, 2 Children's Programmes, 3 Children's Homes, a Homeless Shelter, a Child Development Programme. a school project, disabled children plus individuals and families in need. We give practical, spiritual and financial help to poor families and act as an agent in sponsoring children.

Wales Romania Aid also works in Moldova, Kossovo, Croatia releiving poverty, providing medical, educational & welfare relief.

Founded in 2010, Zambian Gems Foundation (ZGF) is a non-religious and non-political organisation. It provides education for socioeconomic justice. ZGF maximises its impact through partnership with local governments and organisations for selected projects in developing communities around the globe.

We work towards ensuring that basic human rights are being met in prisons across the globe, including access to food, sanitation, healthcare, and education, and we want it to be sustainable. The charity has continued to expand its work in Romania especially amongst poor people in deprived areas. The first Children's feeding centre is completed. Three more are being developed. The Hope Mission centre is in its final stages of completion and includes a food bank . The charity continues to assist individuals in crisis in the Derbyshire area when needed .

We provide free EEG equipment, local staff training and remote EEG interpretation (TeleEEG) for epilepsy clinics in the developing world.

Guisborough Christian Centre is a Christan fellowship which operates in Guisborough, East Cleveland and elsewhere for the advancement of the Christian religion, relief of persons in need, hardship and distress, the advancement of education, provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare

Provision on a worldwide basis of humanitarian relief and aid in the form of equipment and materials that provide shelter, warmth and comfort to people displaced by natural or other disaster.

We seek to link UK churches in a one-to-one partnership with churches in Eastern Europe, resulting in mutual encouragement, support and exchange visits. We also finance projects in poor parts of Eastern Europe which benefit the congregation.
