Walkden Methodist Church holds regular worship; weddings, baptisms, funerals on request, fellowship groups, community coffee mornings, uniformed organisations. Meet & Eat (lunch & a chat), craft & chat, a bowling and curling group, Supports St Ann's Hospice, Trussell Trust Food Bank, etc. Various community groups meetings and pastoral support and transport finance at St Andrews Methodist School.
