The Trusts objective is to relieve either generally or individually, women, never having been married, of the age of 55 years and upwards, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by its activities of making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

Since 1924 the Trust has been providing support for individuals living in the Deaneries of Warley and West Bromwich; an area covered by the southern part of Sandwell Borough in the West Midlands. Where public funding is not avaialble, grants are made to alleviate poverty and to enable access to education.

Artspace uses empty spaces in town centers and organises workshops and exhibitions with an aim to promote learning and accsesability of art and culture.

The Trust's purpose is to facilitate the placement of young adult volunteers from Lichfield diocese into one of our companion link (overseas) dioceses, and vice versa. The placements will be in churches or church-associated projects and typically for 6 to 12 months. Execution of the programme is managed by the Diocesan St Chad's Volunteer Programme Director.

Provide information and advise for people with kidney problems. Hold open meetings for patients to have the opportunity to ask a doctor questions away from a hospital environment. Help and support kidney dialysis units.

We assist in the relief of suffering children & their families who are living with or are affected by HIV/AIDS. Support initiatives designed to educate the public into causes treatment research & ways of coping and the prevention of HIV/AIDS. Raising funds for the construction development of an orphanage & a school 's IT training suite utilising renewable energy sources to power the suite in Ghana

The Art Fund is used to support the acquisition of items for the Museums Collections through purchase,transport, conservation and specialist assessment, initially in Wednesbury but more recently for the collections of Sandwell Council's Museum Services.

We are a community garden where people can come and get involved in projects and learn how to grow their own vegetables.

The Trust operates in the Borough of Sandwell for the benefit of those in necessitous circumstances to support the purchase of household appliances and domestic fittings for the benefit of dis-advantaged members of the community.

Education and training.

To advance the Christian religion by providing financial assistance to Churches in the Diocese of Birmingham for maintaining and improvement of bell installations.

To support and assist carers of Asian and other ethnic minority communities in the Dudley borough, who provide unpaid care to family members with disabilities or additional needs, through the provision of accessible information, peer support, social and emotional help and services that will improve their quality of life; and through communication with policy makers & services that support carers.

Makes grants to individual elderly ladies living in Sandwell

The association directly supports individual refugees and members of host communities in a disadvantaged area of Birmingham. We meet specific needs of individuals, including lessons on English speaking, adult numeracy, adult literacy, parenting and health issues. We offer advice and assistance on a wide range of personal support needs. We support families of non English speakers.

Local charities, e.g. Wednesbury Poppy Appeal, Sandwell Young Carers and also overseas charities such as Medic Malawi and Nepal Earthquake Disaster Fund.

We make Donations to injured rugby players

Funds are raised via activities organized by the members of the rotary club. Monies are primarily distributed to organizations/campaigns selected by the current club president and to a lesser extent through requests received from our district governor. Smaller donations are made to individuals/organizations engaged in charitable activities.
