TO ADVANCE THE SIKH RELIGION BY THE PROVISION OF A PLACE OF WORSHIP IN THE CITY OF WOLVERHAMPTON FOR PERSONS PROFESSING THE SIKH RELIGION AND TO ADVANCE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.

THE ORGANISATION PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO HAVE SEVERE LEARNING DISABILITIES BY PROVIDING A HOME BASED RESPITE CARE SERVICE, SATURDAY CLUB, HOLIDAY SCHEMES AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANISATION HAS A CHARITY SHOP WHICH RAISES FUNDS FOR THE CHARITY.THE CHARITY HAS A HOLIDAY BUNGALOW FOR USE.

Women Acting In Todays Society (WAITS) supporting women affected by domestic abuse, with specialism in supporting Global Majority women and offenders. Providing advocacy, refuge, counselling, development workshops that aim to increase skills and confidence. Empowering women, building the leadership skills of women to engage more effectively with networks, policy makers and service providers.

To provide care and support to people in Birmingham who have multiple disabilities and to provide respite for their parents and carers.

Grants to charitable bodies supporting the work and concerns of the Religious Society of Friends, those primarily serving Birmingham and the West Midlands, and to UK based charities working overseas.

SCIPS provides a range of support services, co-ordinates and facilitates consultation opportunities for community groups and the residents of Sandwell

Provision of exercise and other facilities to patients who are recovering from heart attacks and other forms of coronary disability

Legacy WM was established in 2010 as charity with a focus on post war heritage. We have now broadened our aims to include; wellbeing, arts and community cohesion. We are based at Soho House and we work with local organisations to deliver our aims.

Black Country Touring works in partnership with Young Promoters and Community Promoters, supporting local communities to bring professional regional, national and international high quality theatre, dance and film into the Black Country. We also create new work born out of contemporary Black Country stories for both local and national audiences.

To benefit the community and in particular the members of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat of Birmingham for the preaching and practising of the Islamic religion, culture and traditions, as interpreted by Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq, for the advancement of education, the relief of need, recreation, hardship and distress in the interests of social welfare so that their conditions of life may be improved.

Our vision is to support and guide children and young people, aged between 6 & 25 to make and construct positive changes to their day to day lives. This is done through Youth Work, Education, Mentoring & Coaching

Environment/Conservation/Heritage

Personal development and life skills programmes to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of beneficiaries. Universal and targeted interventions to benefit all children and young people to raise their self-esteem, tackle barriers, and engage them positively in local communities. Open access youth work and training of youth workers, alongside giving volunteering opportunities.

Multistory commissions acclaimed photographers, film-makers and writers to work with local people to tell their stories of everyday life to create art that people want to be part of, see and talk about. We produce photographic work, films, exhibitions, publications, digital stories and archives that speak to Sandwell and to the whole country and beyond.

To provide for the people of Tipton and surrounding area ,services to individuals who are disadvantaged by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and equality, to improve educational and employment opportunities, racial harmony and relief of financial hardship.

The prevention or relief poverty. The relief of those in need and the provision of shelter and accommodation, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.To introduce ex-offenders and drug addicts back into society and assist their rehabilitation by providing care support and supervision.

To enable disaffected young people, excluded or truanting from school to embark upon a programme that will lead to their return to mainstream education, access training and improve their job prospects.

Provision and maintenance of almshouse housing accommodation for beneficiaries and of any Chapel attached thereto: Such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents (generally or individually) as charity trustees decide: Relief of beneficiaries (generally or individually) by making grants of money or providing or paying for item and services calculated to relieve the needs of such persons.

To respond to the wishes & needs of the Yemeni community & other families in the Sandwell area, by providing cultural orientation, educational development & skills-training for children & adults through the provision of accessible community services & activities run by the YCA.

Throughcare Housing and Support, (THS), offers support, guidance and in most cases accommodation to victims of Forced Marriages and Domestic Violence. We also offer our services to young homeless people and asylum seekers aged between 16 and 25. We also offer guidance and escort duties for minors.

The Hope Projects work to help destitute asylum-seekers and others barred from public funds in the West Midlands.

PRODUCTION OF ANNUAL MULTI ARTS FESTIVAL IN AND AROUND LICHFIELD AND STAFFORDSHIRE

The benevolent fund provides grants to serving and retired police officers and serving and retired employees of the West Midlands Police and any other Qualifying Police Organisations suffering from financial hardship or who have a charitable need. Also supports organisations associated with policing for eg, sponsorship of events or funding towards activities.

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statements and beliefs, in Birmingham and in such other parts of the United Kingdom and the World. as the trustees may from time to time to think fit and other such purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the charity
