Religious and Charitable activities

To provide guidance and support for unemployed people. To support people through the transition of been employed. Provide a rapid and independent support service, accessible to all. Provide one to one counselling to our clients. To work in "partnership" and build links with other local, regional agencies.

Plasma of Hope is a UK registered charity supporting individuals that are living with Sickle Cell Disease or other related illnesses. We advocate for people living with genetic blood disorders such as Sickle Cell and Thalassemia, and survivors of associated complications including stroke and other health issues resulting to disability. We also help their carers and those in their support network.

The Counselling Centre gives support to vulnerable people in the community by providing them with the tools to make decisions that will help them, their families, friends and others. Adults and children are helped through a personalised and sympathetic counselling service. Homeless/vulnerable people and substance users are helped providing meals, clothes, advocacy and advice.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, LEISURE, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HARD OF HEARING AND DEAF YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN THE WEST MIDLANDS BETWEEN 11 AND 25 YEARS OLD.

St Mary's Bearwood is the parish church of Bearwood, Smethwick. Our vision is to be "Sharing God's heart for Bearwood in the heart of Bearwood."We seek to demonstrate the love of God through being a community that serves others through our range of activities for all in the local area, of all faiths and none, especially families.

We hold weekly Sunday services at our building, during these services we worship, pray and will have time for a preach. We offer church to children and young people, where they will have a service that is age appropriate.

Open Trail encourages disadvantaged children and young people, of Worcestershire and the West Midlands, to strive for more than they think possible despite their own personal circumstances. They use cycling activities forest school to provide opportunities for children and young people to develop their self-confidence, work ethic, emotional resilience and team working skills.

To relieve poverty and increase well being among asylum seekers and refugees in the Birmingham area through the provision of practical items and education. To offer a warm welcome to those who use our service.

The Trust holds land for protection and preservation. It provides facilities for primary and infant school children mostly from the Birmingham Education Authority and a wider area to visit a working farm with a range of livestock. It gives opportunities for outdoor activities for groups of young people using a building in the Wyre Forest.

Lion Farm Action Centre strives to create opportunities for the economic and social regeneration of Lion Farm, Whiteheath, Blackheath, Tividale, Langley, Rowley and Oldbury. supporting families/carers through children's activitiesThe Centre will endeavour to encourage Sandwell people to take full advantage of employment and development opportunities and activities available across Sandwell.

To support the creativity and cultural life of young people up to 30 years of age living in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands area by(a) Providing a rolling programme of arts and cultural projects, events, training and, where possible, employment ; and(b) Offering access to dedicated arts space;

Girlguiding UK, as part of a worldwide movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

As part of Girlguiding UK, West Mercia Guides purpose is to enable girls and young women develop their potential and to make a difference to the world.

The charity provides a range of therapies for people with Multiple Sclerosis who come from Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.

Sunday and midweek meetings for all ages, including open youth work and mothers and toddlers group. Through Ablewell Advice Services, the relief of poverty and provision of free debt advice and information to those who are in need due to their financial circumstances, also budgeting advice sessions.

Only applications from and in respect of charities/expenditure in the West Midlands area will be considered. Applications should include recent accounts. The majority of donations made are in respect of animal welfare & conservation, children's welfare, care of the elderly & physically or mentally handicapped and general medical. Applications for donations for other purposes are considered.
