As the objects of the charity are not limited to any specific areas of charitable activity, the trustees receive a number of applications for donations. In keeping with the founder's general charitable intentions, donations are awarded to a variety of charitable bodies. Twice yearly they review the applications received during the previous six months and select the donees from those applications.

At RIAC UK we match professionals who want to become trustees and non-executives with arts & culture organisations looking for new and more diverse talent to fill posts. Each new trustee is mentored by an experienced arts & culture trustee from the RIAC Brain Trust as they grow into their new role.
