Runs Community, Education and Mental Health and Wellbeing programmes throughout the year across Merseyside, NW England and the UK including the annual Liverpool Comedy Festival. The main focus is the ground breaking mental health and well-being programmes that aim to improve health and well-being, boost confidence, self-esteem and help to eradicate the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Assisting Liverpool Cathedral with the maintenance and education of the boy and girl choristers and the provision of singing and music tuition.

Church of England

To advance public education in issues of gobal development through the provision of services and through acting as an umbrella or resource body to provide education and training, and community development activities.

To advance the christian religion through the provisioon of a christian cafe and drop in centre and the provision of a place for youg people as an alternative to meeting place to pubs abd clubs.

Rehome and rescue domesticated and ferel cats and neutering. Offer help and advice to the public.

We assist young people, victims and witnesses of crime, and vulnerable members of the community through grants to either individuals, or organisations.We assist other charitable purposes as determined by the trustees.All applications are submitted by either a Police Officer, or member of Police Staff.

Bringing together all refugee & asylum support agencies across Merseyside to network, share information, raise issues, campaign, and provide signposting. We also provide welfare/housing advocacy case work, we offer health and well being support and employment and training advice for individual refugees and asylum seekers to help with integration and settlement for life in UK.

Place of worship and community centre

To preserve and protect the health of young adults on Merseyside by: - promoting and facilitating cardiovascular screening of young adults in Merseyside so as to reduce early death rates from previously unknown or undetected medical conditions; and,- promoting the general public's understanding and awareness of coronary heart screening of young adults and its potential benefits.

To promote and further the craft of beekeeping. To advance the education of the general public in the importance of bees in the environment.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN MERSEYSIDE IN ALL THE PLASTIC, VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS AND LITERATURE AND TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE.WORK ON A DAILY BASIS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE TO ASSIST IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT AS ACTIVE CITIZENS.

St Thomas' Church proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ by witness and example to the whole community of Lydiate and Downholland.It has been a busy year, however on the whole the PCC is pleased with it's achievements against the objectives as set out in the Annual Report (Page 4).

-We provide a community centre that is open 12 hours per day, 7 day week-Lunch club for the elders serving a daily average of 10 breakfasts, 20 lunches and innumerable hot drinks-Advice sessions on: Welfare rights, Health and drugs, Benefits, Jobs and training and Housing.-an advocacy and interpreting service for dealing with the authorities

We produce two musicals a year shown at a local theatre for members of the public

Providing Christian services such as Sunday worship services, Iona worship services (Thursday AM), Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals. Girls Brigade, FACETS (pensioner activities day (Tues)), Food Pantry, Warm Space, Free Library (in partnership with Birkdale Community Hub and Library).

We are attempting to remove barriers by obtaining funding to offer an intensive pre-employment / training residential course over a 6 week period.Prior to the start of the programme they will complete initial briefing, training which will include team building and an individual skills analysis.Creating the environment for young people to discover and develop themselves. .

To help relieve sickness by the provision of motorcycle and vehicles courier services to hospitals and hospices in the charities catchment areas all free of charge and by volunteers of the group

Providing support to access Direct Payments for disabled people to employthier own staff to provide personal care.Provide information and advice to manage funds.

Leisure time and recreational activities for older people no longer in full-time gainful employment.

Supporting 2 full time schools workers who work in schools and colleges providing support to school clubs and assistance in curricular areas ( assemblies, religious education,citizenship, PHSE).Working in partnership with other schools/youth workers; joint presentations at Easter, end of school year 6 and Christmas; Encouraging prayer and financial support from Churches and individuals

The Trustees objectives are to make donations to such charitable bodies or institutions at such times and in such manner as they in their absolute discretion think fit.

We provide accredited activities to young people who may not otherwise be able to acccess them. Enabling young people to gain benefit socially, economically and personally.

We arrange a variety of recreational activities for disabled children, young adults up to the age of 25 and their families. These include theatre and cinema trips, craft sessions, soft play/sensory sessions, day trips to farms and zoos, tramolining, fun and float sessions in a swimming pool.

MWSC was establishes in 2007 to support international workers and their dependents in Sefton and surrounding area who were experiencing discrimination, unfair treatment and financial hardship in particular in the fields of access to employment, housing, healthcare, welfare entitlements and financial services. Registered as a charity on January 2009 and in January 2014 converted to a CIO.
