We are a parent-teacher association that raises money to benefit the children and teachers in our school, providing teaching and learning resources, play equipment and contributing to the cost of educational visits and trips.

The Charity owns a large mansion in mid Wales which it maintains and refurbishes as funds allow so to provide residential experience for children or young people, especially those from a needy or under privileged background.

Silth's Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes or returns abandoned, stray, and feral animals, particularly cats. We are run by volunteers and operate through a series of foster homes. We mostly operate within the central Liverpool region, but rehome nation wide.

Southport Photographic Society aims to advance the education of the public in the theory and practice of photography as an art. To further this aim the Society organises:(i) public exhibitions of photographs, photographic art and apparatus. (ii) public lectures and demonstrations of all aspects of photography. (iii) public outings to places of photograhic interest.

Scouting

Fundraising events such as Summer & Christmas fairs, Discos, ice skating, fashion shows and quiz nights

A small group of people who hold fund raising activities which help enable the school to purchase equipment which would normally be beyond the school budget. Other activities include funding school Christmas parties, leavers BBQ's and subsidising school day trips and the Year 6 residential trips.

The object of the Jacob Billington Trust is to support young people in the borough of Sefton, Liverpool, withtheir pursuit of creative arts opportunities; primarily, but not exclusively through financial support.Our work includes part-funded music lessons on a referral basis, monthly songwriters workshops and events to showcase young, local musicians and creative artists.

IT WORKS TO SHAPE FUTURE JEWISH LIFE ON MERSEYSIDE, FACILITATING & PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL & RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY & INTERFAITH & INTER-ETHNIC UNDERSTANDING & HARMONY.

The society continues the service it began over 30 years ago. 6 groups offer help and support in researching family history in each of the areas covered by the Society and informational talks and group meetings are offered throughout the year. 10 help desks are run in conjunction with local libraries over a 50 mile radius. A vastly improved website is now available to both members and non members.

To relieve the suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide & maintain refugees, secure homes, sanctuaries or other facilities for the reception of care of unwanted animals and the treatment of sick or ill-treated animals.

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE ORGANISATION OR PROVISION OF SPORTING ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE SPORT OF JUDO, FOR PHYSICAL RECREATION TO ALL CHILDREN UNDER IN THE AREA

To assist in the saving of human life in cases of shipwreck, fire and other dangers, in the North West.To recognize the actions of persons instrumental in saving, or attempting to save human life from danger, by the granting of medals, parchments and certificates.To encourage the teaching of techniques and methods of rescue and lifesaving on land, sea and in the air.

MERSEYSIDE SUDANESE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION serves all parts of the diaspora Sudanese community in Liverpool and its region. We provide premises for meetings, celebrations and activities. We are focussing on the needs of our children & young people, and women within our community. We run education classes for our schoolchildren and a meeting space for women, as well as men.

The object of the choir is the study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge, education and appreciation of such music by means of public performances.

Encouraging the appreciation and study of the history of Liverpool & the immediate environs, primarily by a programme of public talks, guided walks, the publication of an annual journal & an extensive website news service to members and the wider public.

An independent Christian church meeting at Woodvale Chapel for worship, Bible study, prayer and evangelism amongst all ages. Outreach to adults aged 55 years and over at weekly Woodvale Seniors group during term time. Social outreach to the elderly who make up a sizeable number of our members. Interest in and financial support to worldwide Christian missionary activities.
