THIS SOCIETY ENJOYS MONTHLY MEETINGS FROM SEPTEMBER TO THE FOLLOWING APRIL, WHICH ARE ADDRESSED BY GUEST SPEAKERS TALKING ON A SPECIFIC TOPIC OF LOCAL INTEREST FROM AN HISTORICAL POINT OF VIEW. WE ALSO ARRANGE DAY EXCURSIONS TO PLACES OF INTEREST IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.

The charity makes grants to needy cases & charitable activities amongst the Jewish community at the discretion of the trustees.

PROVIDING WEEKLY NEWS AND MAGAZINE CASSETTES TO BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE.

To make available the Pilkington Glass Collection of Glass objects, and other objects comprising or relating to glass, on loan to a Museum for display to the Public, for the advancement of the education of the public.

To raise money to benefit all children in our school.

Holidays

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Sefton and the surrounding area, by the provision of facilities for playing basketball and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare in recreation and leisure time occupation, with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents of Sefton and the surrounding area.

The Formby Civic Society was founded in 1953 to preserve the identity of Formby, safeguard its amenities, develop its cultural activities and encourage local studies. It is active in local civic affairs and planning issues. We have a regular programme of meetings & events.

To advance public education by the promotion of the study of all branches of science.

Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the area, including children, young people, elderly and people with disabilities.We provide building/facilities and open space to enable activities and library facilities.We act as an umbrella or resource body for the area.

SEMusic currently runs St. Edmund's Choir and #LoveToSing children's choir in Waterloo, Liverpool. Both choirs are free of charge to join and are non-auditioning - SEMusic takes pride on making the arts accessible to all.SEMusic produces events to help fund the work of the choirs and uses music and an education resource.

Learning Disability support group

MERSEYSIDE SUDANESE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION serves all parts of the diaspora Sudanese community in Liverpool and its region. We provide premises for meetings, celebrations and activities. We are focussing on the needs of our children & young people, and women within our community. We run education classes for our schoolchildren and a meeting space for women, as well as men.

The provision and maintenance of a War Memorial and Park in Formby.

The prime aim of the charity is to support by gifts, charities/organisations for the elderly within the Formby area.

Newfield School aims to bring the school and the local community together by holding events so as to break down any misconceptions about pupils with disabilities. We provide information, advice and support to those living in the local area and the borough of Sefton.

Regular monthly talks on gardening and horticultural subjects which are open to all members and the general public. Three shows are held each year

The objectives of the group are to encourage the use of public footpaths and to assist in the preservation, maintenance and defence of the rights of the public to use and enjoy on foot the public highways, (e.g. footpaths, bridle paths, by-ways and other ways, wastelands and roadside strips). 2. EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

To support the religious and other charitable activities of the parish of St Mary's, Little Crosby, Merseyside and to support the upkeep and repair of the fabric and contents of the church buildings. To enhance and promote the social activities of the village of Little Crosby and generally to stimulate public interest in the history and buildings of the parish and the locality.
