Fund Raising - Educational

A hall for the use of inhabitants of the areas of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants of Wentnor, Ratlinghope, Norbury and Myndtown.

To provide a quality and sustainable Village Hall facility such that this stimulates participation and support by all elements of the community in organised groups and events

We provide financial support to impoverished people in (but not limited to) the far west of Nepal. We support an Orphanage and an education project allowing children to access primary education. Our fundraising has included increased support through regular donations following publicity and launch events surrounding becoming a Trust. We have launched our own website and distribute a newsletter

The role of the charity is to raise funds through donations and its own fund raising activities to commission a lasting memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to honour those civilian entertainers who did so much to help the war effort by boosting morale both at home and abroad during World War two and to educate the public in the role that entertainment played in the war.

We will actively involve the local community in caring for, improving and monitoring the habitat and the wildlife on the land that we manage. Most of this involvement will be through voluntary work at High Leasowes, for example seed sowing, weeding, brash clearance, tree and hedge planting.

Village hall.

Audley Brass Band performs on a regularly basis at either our own concerts or as a contributor to other concerts staged by charities, schools, village associations, churches, etc. We rehearse twice a week to improve the quality of the Band. We have a training band which practices once a week and when members of this band are ready to move to the main band, Audley Brass, this is encouraged.

Promotes availability and use of village hall as a facility for community use. Ensures necessary health and safety checks are undertaken on a regular basis and that all services and facilities at the hall are maintained to an effective standard.

To associate with Local Authorities, voluntary organisations, clubs, groups, associations and individuals to provide Community Hall facilities with the objectives of improving the education, community spirit, fellowship and well-being of the inhabitants of Bicton Heath and the neighbourhood and by maintaining the Community Hall in a condition fit for such meetings and activities.

THE VICTORIA HALL WAS GIVEN TO THE COMMUNITY AROUND 1907. THE VICTORIA HALL IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE THAT CATERS FOR, YOUTH, COFFEE MORNINGS, TI CHI, BALLROOM DANCING, BINGO MEETINGS, EXCERCISE CLASSES,KARATE, RUMMAGE SALES, BABMINGTON, MAYORS BALLS AND A FUNCTION ROOM FOR WEDDINGS, PARTIES, AND SOCIAL EVENTS. THE HALL IS USED FOR COUNCIL ELECTIONS, SEMINARS BY THE COUNCILS, BOTH LOCAL AND COUNTY.

Provision of village hall for local organisation and community use

To encourage young people in STEM activities and to enhance their general education and personal development by building full size, 2 seat aircraft kits in schools.

Community facilities

Advancement of public appreciation and knowledge of music by active participation in public choral performances and related activities in the Marches areas of Shropshire. Support of other charities using funds generated by the main activity.

The Object of the Association is to relieve patients and former patients of the Whitchurch Hospital and other invalids in the Community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and, generally, to support the charitable work of the said Hospital.

Coffee Mornings and Community lunches WI, Indoor bowls,Table tennis, Bingo, Amateur Dramatics and General fund raising events. Community Store, Hall hire (parties, weddings, keep fit, etc...) plus Play Area and Playing Field maintenance.

Cursillo is a movement for Christian renewal. It is a Catholic movement to form leaders who grow through prayer, study & action to evangelise others for Christ.

To advance the education, appreciation, and knowledge of the public in the art of classical music, through the promotion of classical music and live performance in general for the public benefit in and for Mid Wales. Activities include workshops, performances and other participatory activities.
