OPERATES IN SHAWBURY, SHROPSHIRE . SUCH FUNDS AS THERE ARE ARE AVAILABLE FOR GRANTS TO ALLEVIATE HARDSHIP AMONGST CHURCH ATTENDERS AND RELIGIOUS PURPOSES

General church activities in our local area and reaching out with other churches to reach the wider area. We also support ministries in Africa and help to support a school in Uganda.

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of addiction and/or dependence in particular but not limited to alcohol, drug and gambling in Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas through the provision of financial assistance, support, education and practical advice to themselves, families and friends.

To maintain or assist in the maintenance of Shifnal Cemetery ("the Cemetery") for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by landscaping, enhancing and developing the Cemetery by any means appropriate to make it a tranquil environment where visitors can spend time to remember and reflect on memories of their loved ones.

Educational awards

Grants to appropriate bodies or individuals, for such charitable institutions or charitable purposes as the Trustees determine.

A rural youth organisation for young people aged 10 to 28.

RELIEF OF POVERTY

The Playing Field includes a Football Pitch and Cricket Field. There is also a Play Area for young children with slides, roundabouts etc The local Primary School also use this area as it is adjacent to the School.The Playing Field & Play Area address is Love Lane, Cleobury Mortimer

St Mary's Shawbury Bell Restoration Fund

To provide facilities to help educate young people through their leisure time to develop physically, mentally and spiritually.Activities take place in Silo Central and on the playing fields, both in the village of Gobowen.Crafts, Plays, Outings, Visitors, Football, Rounders, Pool Table, Computers, Local Events, Visiting Theatre, Ice Skating etc

The charity has been set up to improve the interests of social welfare , to improve the conditions of life of the area of benefit without distinction of political,religious or other opinions by the provision and maintanence of a recreational ground.

Day centre for elderly.

Provides inshore lifeboats and inland search and rescue, on the tidal Severn, Wye, and Usk and across the wider area of the River Severn including all of Gloucestershire.On 1 Jan 22 SARA become a Charity CIO. All assets and operations of the Charity were moved into Charity CIO 1193634, and this Charity (505504) is now dormant pending formal closure.

Increasing world awareness of the need for Shark Conservation in the interests of marine bio-diversity generated by the coral reef eco-systems.

The Charity operates in two sections. As part of the national Together Network, Transforming Communities Together is engaged in community development within the Diocese of Lichfield, initially within Walsall, Wolverhampton and Sandwell. It also delivers the national Near Neighbours programme within the Black Country

To acquire, restore and preserve for the benefit of the public whatever of the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that may remain of the former Great Western Railways line between Gobowen and Oswestry and the Cambrian Railways line between Oswestry and Llanymynech as well as its branch line from Llynclys Junction to Blodwell, together with associated rolling stock and equipment.

Sport and recreation

The provision of a prize to pupils leaving Newcastle-under-Lyme School to enter the field of medicine.

We are a Infant School PTA. We raise funds for the school to purchase educational and play equipment, books, computers, furnishings, as well as supporting the school by contributing to class outings and activities.

TENCEP provides training courses, recreational courses and other educational opportunities for all people in the Tenbury Wells area.
