Zubeida Charitable Trust is a general purpose charity and aims to support a range of charitable causes for the public benefit. The main focus being on i/ humanitarian relief and development via financial or other aid; ii/ educational aid, religious (Islamic) and secular; iii/ medical aid. As ZCT is a small charity we generally work by providing grants to other larger UK registered charities.

Supporting Educational activities and providing medical aid in South East Asia,sub Saharan Africa and areas of conflict around the world.Providing help to UK based charities and individuals with Funeral expenses.

We are a church charity and run religious services on Sunday and prayer meetings midweek. In addition the trustee's are the governing body for ACORNS a youth club that meets on the premises one evening a week and Coffee Connect for older members of the local community that meets on the premises one morning a week. We have raised grant funding for both these projects.

The African Bird Club gives grants to individuals and groups in African countries to support a wide range of small to medium-sized projects there that benefit the conservation of African birds or their habitats. Our website is the primary online source for all things to do with African birds. We also publish a twice-yearly, peer-reviewed bulletin, and we are developing a series of birding apps.

Rory's Well works in Sierra Leone to provide clean water, improve food security and build resilience to climate change and economic challenges; through the digging and maintaining of wells, environmentally sustainable farming and livelihood creation with specific support for women and families.

The Charity's principal activity is to facilitate the provision of post-graduate level higher education and the study of law by individuals from the continent of Africa.

The provision of clean and safe drinking water which results in the reduction/elimination of water-borne diseases, resulting in improved health, higher attendance rates at school and, consequently, better educational outcomes and improved ability to work, thus relieving poverty. We will also provide Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) training for improved sanitation and hygiene.

We hold Weekly Worship,Study and prayer meetings. We endeavour to meet the needs of the low income families in Lambeth tackling poverty,community breakdowns and strengthening families through worship, workshops and advice/ counselling sessions. Our Overseas efforts are aimed at tackling poverty,sponsors,medical supplies and clothes to the communities within Sierra Leone,Uganda and Burundi

To offer financial support in the form of small donations via UK registered charities to help address issues such as the relief of suffering, educational support and development and self-sufficiency promotion.

We raise money in the UK so that we can pay the secondary school fees of the brightest children from poor homes in several villages in Sierra Leone - Mahera, Kayunga, Bonthe and Shenge. We also buy wheelchairs and adapted bicycles to enable disabled children to get to school. Finally, we give grants to groups and organisations which meet the education and training needs of the poorest students.

Soroptimist International Foundation is a global organisation collecting appeal donations from 5 member Federations and the public. The Foundation makes grants to providers that educate, empower and enable women and girls. Projects and programmes are funded in countries where need has been identified to improve the lives of women and girls.

Rotary is a Service organisation which encourages and fosters High ethical standards in business and profession, serves the local society and promotes community life. In adition it seeks to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace through its fellowship. It has the resources to respond to specific emergencies involving mankind issues.

Safeguards by raising awareness of Female Genital Multilation (FGM) Develop & provide workshops to impart leadership and management skills to all young people including those with learning difficulties;Provide advise and support for parents and young people who are isolated and have no familial bonds;Facilitate community network support group to build bridges across communities.

Stepping Forward facilitates & accelerates access to essential services, information, resources and life opportunities so that all people affected by disability can live a full life. We run disability awareness sessions in schools, disability confident training & support people to access essential support. We support a range of initiatives globally to promote the rights of disabled people.
