To advance education and relieve persons who are in a condition of need, by equiping young men with training and bicycles to go out to remote villages, to bring relief teaching to help bring them out of poverty, and by providing orphanages and schools in deprived and remote areas in the World. Planting Promise aims to provide free, high quality education to children in Sierra Leone. We currently run 3 schools, educating nearly 650 children. We aim to fund our operations through sustainable business. We currently run a social enterprise, where we produce and sell a package food snack made from Gari (ground cassava root). Any profits are ploughed back into our schools.

The charity operates predominantly in the Kailahun District of Sierra Leone. A team of local Christians is headed up by a local Pastor, they visit local villages and communities with audio-visual materials to spread the Christian message. The team will regularly return to the community and hold small group training. The ministry also facilitates the work of partner organisation Transformed Int.

The Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link was founded in 2003 to help Hastings SL to recover from the devastation it suffered during the Rebel War, and to build a relationship between Hastings UK and Hastings SL. The Link carries out regeneration projects in the village; supports links between community groups and schools; and plans projects in the areas of health and economic regeneration.

Paradise 4 Kids (P4K) supports the advancement of education, the relief of poverty and the promotion of good health for the public benefit anywhere in the world. P4K focus primarily in areas of extreme poverty. P4K hold fundraising events throughout the year to help specific projects. P4K visit all projects at least annually to oversee projects and ensure transparency and efficiency.

The ultimate aim of ISGEO is to reduce eye disease, prevent blindness and preserve sight and increase visual rehabilitation globally, through promoting epidemiological, operational and health systems research and dissemination of the findings. ISGEO organises conferences where researchers can meet and exchange findings and ideas. ISGEO also awards small research grants, funds permitting.
