The activities of the Association are to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Shirley and to maintain and manage a Community Centre where those activities can take place.

We operate a 24hr 365 days a year collection and delivery service to support the medical requirements of our local hospitals. We transport items such as blood, samples, drugs, breast milk, medical equipment and key documents to support hospitals and patients and to relieve the costs of transport to the NHS. We also facilitate the daily delivery and collection of blood to our local air ambulance.

The Warwickshire Beekeepers Association was founded in 1879 and is affiliated to the British Beekeepers Association. Our aim is to advance the education of the public and beekeepers in the craft of beekeeping and promote the importance of bees in the environment. We operate locally through 8 branches.
