SCRCC promote Somali community in Coventry community cohesion. Enable the community to meet & exchange knowledge & information. Our activities are linked to our charitable purpose of alleviating poverty and unemployment through focusing on three key areas of need;1) Training in relevant employment and job search skills 2) Training in enterprise development skills 3) Personal coaching and mentoring on areas that enable people to live fulfilled and healthy lives. a4) Other community support activities

Also supporting trelawny area of Jamaica in partnership with the charity TORA. Provided medical relief to Gaza hospital. Supplied tents direct to Haiti. Provided water wells and seed growing project in Niger with ADRA

THE CENTRE PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES AT FOUR LEVELS: SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL. THIS ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO MAY FEEL EXCLUDED FROM EXISTING SERVICES TO PARTICIPATE IN A CENTRE THAT CATERS FOR THEIR NEEDS. WE DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND INITIATIVES FOR WOMEN SUCH AS COUNSELLING, ADVOCACY, MOTHERS AND TODDLERS GROUPS, AND A RAMADAN PROGRAMME.

The aims of HiCEP are to further the education of the people of Somalia by assisting in the provision of libraries and schools and by providing scholarships to meet the educational costs of the people living there

The Yeheb Project seeks to improve the land and the lives of communities in the drylands of the Horn of Africa, by restoring the Yeheb shrub as a reliable, drought-resistant source of food and fodder. We do this by investing in fencing and water supplies, restoring degraded rangeland, planting Yeheb and other species, building local capacity, and by undertaking research and sharing the outcomes.

Small DEEDS is a charity based on little contributions regularly from lots of people. We use this money mainly for income generation projects and poverty relief, We carry out our objectives by providing grants for the purchase of an income generation products or cash for quick disaster relief.

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND IN PARTICULAR THE EAST AFRICA COMMUNITIES IN GENERAL AND SOMALI PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID COMMUNITY.
