The charity is helping to build and run a hospital in Somalia along with other development work.

We have continued to try and grow our donors through standing order and direct debit. Working with two other established reg. charities: Barwaqa Relief Organisation and Generation For Change and Development. These two charities who have established links with orphans in Kenya. A payment was made to BRO 23/3/16 and to Gencad 23/6/17. Other than the above we have not transferred any other money.

We provide financial support for Waaberi School, We also provide health awareness projects, work towards acquiring more funds through its Diaspora by organising get-togethers and standing orders and Consulting the committee and local community members in operating within the UK to provide support for the diasporas in the UK

Twinning UK schools with overseas schools in areas of need, for practical support and cultural understanding.

BAF supports Somali Communities in West London specially Hammersmith & Fulham by providing wide range of services such as Information, Advice, Support and Advocacy. We are also running suplementary School and informing parents/carers about education system in the UK. BAF has a particular youth focus as it recognises the disadvantages that Somali youth experience and the challenges they face
