Watchet Baptist Church exists to live out the doctrines of the Christian faith for the benefit of the community at large. We meet to worship in a local school twice a moth and hold community activities at our town centre building, The Sanctuary, including community meals, warm spaces, dementia cafe, writing group, photography club, games group. We also allow community use of our building free.

Streamcross Community Church in Claverham takes an active role in the community, but also participates in national and international Christian and social affairs with a particular emphasis on supporting widows and orphans.

The provision, management and maintenance of Beckington Memorial Hall and its adjacent recreational field for use by people living in and around the village of Beckington.

Provision and maintenance of Shapwick Village for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Shapwick and the neighbourhood with the object of improving the conditions of life for those within that community.

Provides transport for medical appointments using cars of its volunteer drivers.

THE FUND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS SEEKING TO REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS OR TACKLE FUEL POVERTY IN THE DEFINED AREAS. APPLICATIONS FROM PROJECTS IN THE VICINITY OF BATH & WEST COMMUNITY ENERGY (BWCE) PROJECTS ARE PARTICULARLY WELCOME. BWCE DONATES ITS SURPLUS PROFITS TO THE FUND, GENERATED FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS COMMUNITY OWNED RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
