Under the banner of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland and Rotary International the charity raises funds for and supports domestic, local and international charities and deserving causes within the local community.

The provision of recreational and leisure facilities for the community, through the maintenance and development of amenities at the Village Hall and grounds.

The PTFA works with Parkfield School, parent and pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities such as school fairs and discos. These help to build the school community, breakdown barriers and help fundraise. We use the funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of the children at Parkfield.

Yeovil ShopMobility is a scheme providing powered and manual equipment to enable people with mobility impairment to shop and get out and about. Anyone with limited mobility can use ShopMobility whether through permanent or temporary disability, illness, accident or age. This equipment is available for daily or long term hire.

Village Hall for leisure activities including theatrical productions, parties, and film/cinema nights, also for hire for leisure activities and meetings. Recreation Ground for outdoor leisure and sports activities including field for football, including junior training, two multi use games areas, a children's play area and an activities hut.

Maintenance and preservation of Woodland

To apply the income of the fund:1. For the assistance or relief of need of any medical practitioner who has practised in Somerset, or his or her immediate dependents.2. To support the costs of the medical training of the child of such a practitioner3. To contribute to such other medical charities as the trustees shall see fit.

Scouting, with active Squirrel, Beaver, Cub and Scout groups members of both sexes welcome

We are PTA who fundraise and promote our school in local community and surrounding areas. We do various activities assisting at the school nativity and hold regular events such as Beetle Drives, Easter Fayres and we also do joint fundraisers with other schools and organistations and help out locally with teas at the local gymkhana.

Village Hall

Maintains a hall serving the communities of Moorland and Fordgate. Lets the hall for activities such as a weekly pilates group, badminton group, Zumba sessions, coffee morning, exercise class, monthly womens group, fortnightly art group, plus annual produce show and other community events. Private lets to community members for family events & parties.Local fundraising activities.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for the elderly of Ilton.

Grants for general charitable purposes to charities, individuals and organisations, mostly around or with a connection to Bishops Lydeard, Taunton or known to one of the trustees.

We provide emotional support for people who are experiencing distress or despair or are at risk of suicide.

The principle objective of the charity is to pay Annuities to unmarried or widowed women baptised of the Church of England. Investments are used to fund current and future annuities.

Parent Teacher Association Fund Raising Activities for the benefit of the school

The promotion of the Church of England and the ministry of the Church of England in the parish of Kingston St Mary in the benefice of Kingston St Mary, Broomfield and Cheddon Fitzpaine in the County of Somerset including the maintenance of the fabric of the said Church of St Mary.

We aim to preserve, protect and improve the British Spotted Pony.We keep studbooks, foster interest in the breed. We encourage and promote the production of the British Spotted Pony for riding, driving and showing. We produce newsletters and have a website. We hold an annual show and we help & advise members on all aspects of keeping and breeding spotted ponies.

The Highbridge Festival of the Arts exists as a not for profit organisation. We offer local people of any age, gender, ethic group, able bodied or disabled, the opportunity to give a public performance of the performing arts. i.e. Dance, Speech and Drama and Music Vocal or Instrumental.

For the public benefit, we promote public operatic performances, recitals and workshops; and we provide training and workshops to performers/artists, and particularly young performers/artists, to enable them to create works of artistic excellence.

Playing concerts in Taunton and the surrounding areas.

Investment income and donations received are distributed for charitable purposes.

The charity is responsible for managing and maintaining Corfe Village Hall.The hall is owned by Corfe Parish Council and leased to the charity.Our income comes from renting the hall out to village organisations, other public organisations and to private individuals. Our expenses are all related to insuring, running and maintaining the hall.
