Maintain and run the Town Hall as a public facility. Maintain the Square area of the town in floral displays. Administer and manage the property and chattels left when the Corporation of Axbridge was disolved by the Municipal Corporations Act of 1883.

The object of the PTA is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:(1) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.(2) Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education and experience of the pupils.

To manage and run Queen Camel Memorial Hall for the good of residents of Queen Camel in general and for the use of youth groups and the elderly in particular.

Marston Magna village hall management committee looks after the village hall for the parish council. It seeks to maintain the hall as the main social point within the village by promoting social and educational activities.

Fundraising for Horsington Church School in Somerset

Various fund raising events for the school - Christmas fayre, quiz night, fun run.

HSA raises money through events like discos, fayres etc to donate money to Horrington Primary School to fund new equipment or experiences for the children.

Collects, catalogues and describes items of memorabilia that are put in boxes of about 10 items. Memory Boxes are distributed on loan to Nursing Homes, Care Homes, Day Centres and Hospitals for use in Reminiscence Therapy for the elderly and those with memory loss. We operate throughout Dorset and slightly venture into East Devon, South Somerset and Wiltshire. We offer talks.

The administration and management of the building - The Parish Rooms, for the benefit of the residents of Somerton.

Hiring of the Washford Memorial Hall and Annex for various activities for the local community of West Somerset and for the use of the local village School.

To provide education,training and experience to young people through the medium of opera performance

Avalon Camps is a local charity based in Somerset, which gives disadvantaged children from Bristol, between the ages of 8 and 9, an opportunity to have a holiday in the countryside.

The object of the charity is to contribute towards the cost of projects for the preservation and maintenance of Holy Trinity church, Long Sutton, Somerset. The main activities are the raising of funds from membership subscriptions, donations and events in order to make grants to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) for projects covered by the object.

We organize events around South Somerset such as fetes, dog shows, 10k runs, etc. to raise funds so we can make donations to or pay for activities to the types of group or individuals listed. Our events also enable other groups to raise funds. We also offer manpower to help community activities e.g., car parking, marshalling events, etc.
