East Coker School PTFA organises and runs a wide range of fundraising activities through the academic year. They range from fashion shows to school discos, Christmas card designing to Pamper Evenings. We have held musical events, print a school calendar, run a second hand uniform shop and organise a lottery. Our major event of the year is our Summer Fair.

Supply facilities for the art group, indoor bowls, dancing, keep fit, sewing, drama, sunday school, conferences and social gatherings.

We have four full time Romanian persons working in the Brasov area in Romania. One helps in the Children's TB Hospital,the other three organise the distribution of the aid that we send by lorry from Bridgwater. They vist and help a variety of people, from the old to the very young, take long term hospital patients on outings etc. All of the workers are Christians & promote Christian values.

To alleviate "need hardship or distress in the "hamlet of Draycott".

Provide facilities for various clubs, the majority of whose members are of pensionable age. These include Dance Exercise, Line Dancing, Tai Chi, Table Tennis, Indoor Bowls. Facilities available for non-members use.

As an integral part of school life we aim to improve the finances of the school to enable them to purchase additional learning equipment and contribute to various structural improvements to the school environment. We provide support at certain key events throught the academic year.

Operation and maintenance of The Speke Hall as a village hall facility servicing the residents of Dowlish Wake and the surrounding area. Community and fund-raising events to support the Hall and the village.

PROVISION OF TWO RESIDENCES FOR RESIDENTS OF THE PARISH OF MELLS & VOBSTER, SOMERSET.

For the purpose of an open space amenity area and a recreation ground for the use of inhabitants of the Parish of Norton St Philip, Somerset without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for recreation, sport and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

To help the Governors of Monteclefe school meet their financial obligations in respect of alterations, improvements and structural maintenance of the school buildings.To make awards to children at the school and to help them participate in extra curricular activities when these are not state funded.

Using the traditions and values of the Royal Navy the charity aims to provide young people experiences and knowledge that they would be hard pressed to find in their normal lives. It is a uniformed youth organisation and aims to promote discipline and teamwork.

Dulverton Heritage Centre is a community led facility totally run by volunteers, offering an educational experience for local people and visitors, celebrating what makes the area special and unique. We assist visitors and local people to learn of the history and natural history and architecture of the locality and to secure the preservation, protection and development of features in the area.

Upkeep of Village Hall. Hall used for many village events including harvest supper, Whist Drive, exercise classes, children's activities and music and art exhibitions.

The Orlando Singers is a chamber choir specializing in the performance of western sacred music. The choir is based in Dorset. Most concerts are given within southern England, but the choir also performs on tour in Europe. In addition to concert activity, The Orlando Singers regularly substitutes for cathedral choirs throughout England and Wales, has broadcast on BBC Radio and has made three CDs.

Our aim is to promote knowledge and understanding of the local history and heritage of Langport and the surrounding area. We undertake research and disseminate the results. We publish an annual programme of activities, including talks, walks, visits and projects. We hold exhibitions and events, and publish books on local history subjects. We produce an annual magazine, Level Talk.

For the benefit of the community to assist people in South West England whose animals are missing by searching and coordinating people and resources.To catch stray animals, scan for a microchip and reunite with owner where possible, To assist other organisations if help is requested.

To provide recreational activities and entertainment for the local community
