To provide emotional support and relief for sufferers of cancer and to help them with counselling and bereavement support.

The providing of a sporting and leisure activity together with a children's play area and trim trail for the population of the village of Pitney and surrounding area. Sporting activities at present are football and golf. There is a clubhouse on site with full changing facilities and for leisure activities which at present are somewhat limited.

1) Winter chamber music concerts available for a) subscribing members. b) Ticket buying members of the general public. c) Free entry for all students. 2) Financial help towards music workshops for local schools.

As well as providing grants to deserving causes within Wells and surrounding area, the City of Wells Lions Club undertakes a number of community service projects inc. Wells Moat Boat Races, MayDay festivities, Diabetes and other health related events for the benefit of the public.

Parent Teacher Association for Bishop's Hull School, Taunton.We raise funds for the school to provide additional resources and experiences for the children.

this charity maintains the building and grounds of the village hall. It manages the funds raised by the hire of the building to various groups.These funds, along with money raised by the charity,are used for the day to day running of the hall and for maintenance and repairs.

Our charity runs weekly swimming sessions for our members in Sherborne and Yeovil.In addition to the swimming, there is a strong social element to our charity. We have regular social evenings and fundraising events.

Fundraising through Fayre's, Bingo, Disco. Raffle etc. to raise money to support the children in their classrooms and activities enhancing their experiences of learning. These are ran in the the school or local community hall

Developing tower bell ringing through training, mentoring, focused practices and recorded performances. Raising awareness of tower bells in the local community by organising tower visits, demonstrations, talks and providing recruitment information. Providing competent bands of ringers for ringing at Bampton and Huntsham. Raising funds for the long-term maintenance and development of the equipment.

A social weekly gathering of people of pension age who enjoy quizzes, talks, outings, entertainment etc.

The study and practice of choral music to foster public knowledge and appreciation through public performance. To assist and support such charitable institutions or purposes as the Choir committee shall from time to time determine.

The Cantamus Chamber Choir is based in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. The Choir's purpose is to further the cause of Choral Music by its study and practice and by its public performance in order to foster public appreciation of the art and science of music. The main activities are rehearsals, performances and occasional concert tours, recently in Europe.
