To provide a building for village activities,

Financial support to the fabric of St Andrews Church and its Churchyard in Compton Bishop, Somerset. Funds are raised through voluntary annual membership subscription and by various fund-raising activities from time to time throughout each financial year.

The study and practice of choral music to foster public knowledge and appreciation through public performance. To assist and support such charitable institutions or purposes as the Choir committee shall from time to time determine.

To educate, inform and entertain our members which in turn may benefit the wider community.

To provide an environment for children of all ages to go to a pre-school and youth club, alongside having the facilities for local sport groups

Special needs school.

Organising village activities, such as whist drives, beetle drives, jumble sales, firework/bonfire displays, village flower and produce show for the benefit of local inhabitants. Making the hall available for local inhabitants' activities, including Parish Council.

THE CHARITY SUPPORTS THE MUSEUM OF SOMERSET BY MAKING SPECIFIC DONATIONS TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OR CONSERVATION OF OBJECTS. THERE IS A MONTHLY PROGRAMME OF HIGH QUALITY, INFORMATIVE AND INTERESTING TALKS HELD AT THE MUSEUM AND OCCASIONAL VISITS TO PLACES OF INTEREST.

Performing a high standard of choral chamber music in towns and villages in Somerset and Dorset

The Village Hall is held for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Thurloxton without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Advancement of the education and provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupations with the object opf improving the condition of life for the residents of Umbrella Homes and other similar organisations.

We publish record sources for the study of Somerset history.

PARENT, TEACHER AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION OF ST ANDREW'S CHURCH SCHOOL.

Our main activities to date are raising funds through charitable events and donations. However, the purpose of the charity is to develop and operate a skate park in Axminster

In accordance with the will of the late Ethel Amy Pople, the charity provides financial assistance to the elderly and/or infirm of Cocklake, Crickham, Clewer and Wedmore (all of which are in Somerset).

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Westfield without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race or political, religious, or other opinions, by associating together local inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other in a common effort to advance education, provide facilities and improve conditions of local life.

The preservation, protection, restoration and enhancement of the former Mendip Hospital cemetery and chapel, to provide a public amenity of historical merit for the benefit of the local community. Also, to provide information and support for those who have relatives buried in the cemetery.

SUPPORT FINANCIALLY AND IN HUMAN RESOURCES TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS REQUIRING ASSISTANCE. THESE ARE IN THE MAIN LOCAL BUT SUPPORT IS GIVEN BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY FROM TIME TO TIME. FUND RAISING IS UNDERTAKEN TO SUPPORT THE ABOVE.
