The Village Artists' Group meet twice weekly - with members who range from beginners to professional artists. It flourishes as a warm and friendly group who have two things in common: a keen interest in painting and drawing and a belief that talent and achievement can be developed by the mutual encouragement of each other's work.

Clapton Village Hall offers a hall and skittle alley available for the local community to hire for meetings, private and community gatherings.The Hall also offers accommodation to the village snooker club.The hall committee additionally organise village social events utilising the hall for these purposes which include educational, information and social activities.
