The charity is a custodian of key community assets in Midsomer Norton. Maintained and available for local beneficiaries i.e residents of Midsomer Norton and the area to enjoy. It includes key community buildings and spaces from Bath & NE Somerset & Midsomer Norton Town Council gifted to the trust.

Financial support for the Rector and Churchwardens of South Petherton Church to assist in the maintenence and improvement of the fabric of the church.

SUPPORTING THE WORK OF ST GILES CHURCH, LEIGHLAND, SOMERSET.

The relief of persons who have served or are serving under the white ensign and the wives, widows, husbands, children and other dependants of such persons who are in necessitous financial circumstances or who are suffering from ill-health or injury. From time to time make contributions to registered charities (Naval).

To provide a facility for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Godney and Somerset without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.

The Charity was set up to provide financial support for poor widows living in the Parish of Catcott. It's brief has been extended over the years to provide support for the poor and elderly in the immediate area, particularly at Christmas time.

The purpose of The Somerset Military Museum is to collect, document, preserve, display and provide access to material relating to The Somerset Light Infantry and its successor and antecedent regiments including Somerset's Yeomanry, and to use and interpret this material for the education and benefit of members of the public of all ages and backgrounds and those within the Armed Forces.

SIAS seeks to advance the education of the public in all aspects of industrial archaeology in and around Somerset. Talks are held fortnightly from October to March. Field Trips take place each summer with a programme of day, half-day and evening visits to place of industrial and historic interest. Fieldwork takes place when the opportunity arises. Members receive a Bulletin three times a year.

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT AT YEOVIL AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF IN THE HISTORY, ARCHAEOLOGY AND ANTHROPOLOGY OF YEOVIL AND THE SOUTH AND WEST PARTS OF THE COUNTRY OF SOMERSET.

The object of the charity is to protect, conserve and improve the wildlife and natural environment of Comeytrowe pond for the public benefit.
