The Friends of Wheatfield Primary School organise fundraising events and activities for the school community to enjoy and in doing so help to support our fundraising for the benefit of the children and the school. Ride Bristol is a registered charity run by a team of local mountain bikers. We aim to channel the collective weight of the local off road biking community to promote their interests across the Bristol and surrounding areas. Advance the education of the pupils in the school. Fundraising to purchase items requested by the school for this purpose.

We aim to provide gifts or experiences to the siblings of children undergoing cancer treatment. Those siblings are often isolated and confused with such extreme circumstances and upsets to their normal family life. This can quite dramatically affect family and sibling bonds for some time. Our purpose is to give then a treat to make them feel still valued and important within the family.

Our objective is advancing the education of the public in the history of the village of Frenchay. To this end we carry out historical research, then publish the results on our web site, publish books and give talks. We also run Frenchay Village Museum.

Thornbury is an old market town north of Bristol, in South Gloucestershire.We organise annually :1. Thornbury Arts Festival over 10 days in Spring.2. Severn Vale Art Trail to run alongside Festival.3. A Young Person's Competitive Eisteddfod during MarchPlus any other events deemed appropriate and desirable e.g. visits by the touring Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
