General upkeep of Churchyard of St James The Less Iron Acton

To advance the education of adults in the Bristol area, in literacy. We work on a 1:1 basis, with the Coach/Reader pair meeting twice each week. All Coaches are volunteers and are trained in the phonics method. All reading materials are provided for the Reader, at no cost to him/her. There is no time limit within which the Reader has to achieve a certain standard of literacy.

We offer advice and support to autistic women & girls through regular group sessions in Bristol, and seek to improve public and professional understanding of autism in women & girls through workshops and outreach.

The Northavon Singers is a mixed voice (4-part) choir, performing two to three public concerts per year, in addition to a number of local events such as Christmas Carol concerts for local residential and nursing homes and ad hoc events on request. Some profits are donated to local and national charities, as and when viable. The choir has approximately 15 members.

To apply funds and income for the CharityÔÇÖs objects to enable, through education, an understanding of the history of Yate and District, to assist in the work of Yate Heritage Centre
