Voscur is a Council for Voluntary Service; a member-led infrastructure organisation working with voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and private and statutory sectors to ensure VCS representation at strategic partnerships and decision-making bodies. To advance education by the establishment, operation, promotion and support of a chamber orchestra, and smaller groupings of musicians, of the highest professional standard, and by the provision of concerts, recitals and performances of classical music in Bristol, Glocestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and elsewhere.

SOFA PROJECT IS A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE WITH THE CHARITABLE AIMS OF SUPPORTING THE REHABILITATION OF PRISONERS THROUGH WORK OPPORTUNITIES IN THE ORGANISATION. THESE ACTIVITIES MAINLY COMPRISE THE RE-USE OF UNWANTED/DONATED FURNITURE AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCES BY REFURBISHING THEM AND SUPPLYING THEM AT LOW PRICES TO PEOPLE ON LOW INCOMES.

Your Park Bristol & Bath (the working name of the Charity) works to help everyone access parks and their transformational health and wellbeing benefits. We run a programme of activities and provide support to communities in the highest areas of deprivation in Bristol and Bath with the aim of increasing use of parks. To do this, we focus on three key areas: health, access and nature.

BART aims to protect and improve the health of rivers and streams and their bankside environment within the Bristol Avon catchment area. BART achieves this by using the knowledge of its volunteers and by forming partnerships with other interested parties such as Wildlife Trusts, and by engaging with land owners, community groups and river users such as anglers and walkers.

LoveBristol provide volunteers for community development and supports and initiates regeneration projects and intiatives in Stokes Croft and the Bristol area.

The advancement of the Christian faith, especially by the means of, and in accordance with, the priciples of the Baptist denomination as set out for the time being in the Declaration of Principle of The Baptist Union of Great Britain.

City Church currently meets on three sites each Sunday morning to worship God and expound the bible. All sites run children's activities. The church runs groups for worship, prayer and bible study, a youth group and a toddler group called Little Elms. Various training courses are run periodically. The church is also involved in the StreetLife project.

Universal and targeted interventions to benefit all children and young people to raise their self-esteem, tackle barriers, and engage them positively in local communities. Open access youth work and training of youth workers, alongside giving volunteering opportunities.

We have been helping people who live with a neurological condition since 1985 providing the therapies and support our members need to maintain their independence and to minimise the effects that neurological conditions like Multiple Sclerosis have on their daily lives. We are also here for their families and carers, building a strong sense of community and understanding.

Acts as an umbrella organisation providing Human Resources and organisational advice and support to groups providing 'out-of-school' care for children and young people

The objective of the charity is the support of those who have recovered from a stroke, their families and carers. The main activities to achieve this objective are information, advice and emotional support to individuals, the running of weekly social groups, provision of counselling and liaising with health professionals in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas.
