GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSESRELIEF OF POVERTY

CLAWAR aims to widen robot application domains for the public benefit by identifying and leading keys initiatives (both nationally and internationally) that are able to address global concerns for robotics. The current issues identified are the lack of safety standards for service robots and poor interaction between the robot research community and the robot standardisation community.

Supports grassroots, local and International organisations working with displaced and crisis-affected communities by providing safeguarding capacity-building, organisational wellbeing training, and emergency mental-health support. The aims of the Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group (DPSG) are to improve the detection and management of diabetes in pregnant women and their offspring through education, teaching and research. Obesity before and during pregnancy has recently been added to the DPSG portfolio. The DPSG is affiliated to the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD).

Wolves and Humans is a UK based charity working with people and local communities to find practical solutions to co-existence with wolves and other large carnivores, thereby helping long-term conservation of these species.
