Our aim is to help children in Sri Lanka funding for their education and medical needs while also donating medical equipment to hospitals and other necessities. We provide children in the UK with a platform to showcase their talents in multicultural shows we organise and aim to provide unity among all cultures and communities in the UK while supporting our worthwhile cause.

We do help poor people in Sri Lanka and student who can not study due to the finance problem

Educating public on matters related to sustainable developmentAddressing the issue of the energy poverty through "Power to the homeless" initiative

To catch, neuter and release feral dogs and cats worldwide in order to reduce over-population problems.

Provide funds to selected organisations and individuals who promote the study of Sanskrit language and to educate children from poor background in order to elivate them from poverty trap to a better future in the following countries ;- UK, India, South Africa , Sri Lanka and Australia.

There was no activity during the year ended 31 October 2011.

The charity initially looked for projects supporting children in Sri Lanka. It has widened its remit to support women and children in Sri Lanka and Africa.

RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, PARTICULARLY FOR CHILDREN.

For the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship in Sri Lanka and elsewhere by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient by making grants to charitable and non-governmental organisations

We operate both locally and internationally as the need is identified. When oprerating internationally it is almost always in conjunction with a Rotary Club in the receiving country.

The mission of the Swallowtail and Birdwing Butterfly Trust is to conserve and protect members of the butterfly family Papilionidae.We do four things: raise financial resources; convene networks and partnerships; catalyse action; and provide scientific and technical support.

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.

The Club organises various fundraising activities in the local community including a sponsored walk and a street collection. Funds are also raised through quizes and concerts supported by members and friends. Donations by members supported by Gift Aid make up the balance.The three major areas of disbursment of funds are Local and UK charities, Rotary Foundation and other International Charities.

The Piers Simon Appeal runs School in a Bag (SIAB) - an initiative that distributes rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children around the world.SIAB runs many events including Home Farm Fest, a 3 day music festival held at the charity HQ in SomersetThe charity has 4 employees and 2 part time volunteers

Making grants to charities and organisations working to relieve poverty and it's effects both in the UK and abroad and occasionally to individuals suffering financial distress. Also making grants to charities and organisations working with the abused and deprived.

INBAM workshops, conferences, seminars and international conference sessions in partnership with professional associations, publishers and universities. Editor guidance, education and support for young researchers in developing good articles for publication in top journals. Promotion of ethical publishing in business and management in association with the publishers of reputable academic journals

SOUP provide an outreach service to individuals who are suffering from extreme isolation and are beyond reach of traditional charities who have no family or friends and scarce financial security by providing material and Mental health support. Fundraising and grants for other charities by organising Wellness events and concerts. Mental health support programmes for staff of other charities.

We are committed to enhancing students understanding of the institutional and political in-working of the United Nations (UN) organisation. Through attending simulated UN conferences, students act as ambassadors, representatives, and national leaders of their assigned countries whilst debating a variety of issues in a manner consistent with the procedure of the real UN.

To further such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit, especially to relieve suffering and to promote spiritual wellbeing including human rights, racial harmony, equality or diversity in the United Kingdom or overseas.

To relieve poverty and advance education for school going children who were victims of the tsunami disaster of 26 December 2004 in the Southern and Eastern provinces of Sri Lanka by way of providing financial support to help students carry out their studies and to help provide medical aid and other support services where appropriate.

The charity is established to empower young people in need and vulnerable adults of the African community in the London Borough of Bexley, surrounding areas, the UK and Africa to lead a normal life, to protect and preserve public health by the provision of HIV/AIDS and sexual health prevention services to the African community in the London Borough of Bexley, surrounding areas, the UK and Africa.
