Friends of Rivington PTFA enhances the school experience for the children of Rivington Primary School by fundraising to buy equipment, and pay for trips, visitors, workshops and more. Additionally we work to strengthen the school community and the relationships between staff and families.

Provision of musical concerts and recitals in aid of local charities and providing choir for occasional religious services.

Supports the work of The District C E Primary School to give additional opportunities to the children of the school.

To hold Fundraising Art Exhibitions and Spiritual Events in order to raise funds and awareness for Fibromyalgia, To run Creative Workshops in Mental Health and Well Being for Chronic pain and Fibromyalgia sufferers. Most activities are held within our church space. We currently operate from West Kirby Spiritualist Church and Madelainartz ONLINE platforms due to Covid Changes.

Raise funds to subsidise trips and equipment for the children, through Bingo and other fundraising events.

To advance education and provide facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare, with the object of improving the conditions of life for women without distinction or political, religious or other opinions.

We are an independant church fellowship (ie not affiliated to any particular denomination). We meet together during the week on a flexible basis for fellowship & prayer. We also meet each Sunday morning for a family service.

The Club is open to young people who live in the Borough of Sefton. It is run by volunteers and provides facilities to teach and develop kayaking, sailing and water safety.

We help the community resided in Liverpool with employment, education and offer sports facilities. This involves helping clients to fill in a variety of forms, offering an after school club and an adult day centre as well as activities for women. Our sports activities include football, badminton, cram board and fitness routines. Also, our venue is available to the public for event hire.

To provide a lunch for 40 pensioners every Tuesday lunch time also deliver 6 lunchs tohousebound pensioners.

The Lantern Project provides counselling, support and information for victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, racial abuse and bullying.

Provides members of the public monthly lectures in winter, monthly day trips in summer plus an annual weekend away. Produces an occasional journal on regional archaeological developments. Organises community archaeology projects.

Providing community activities involving song and dance training and performance by volunteers.

To relieve the needs and preserve and protect the good health of people affected by myeloma residing in the West Lancs and Merseyside area, their families and carers, through the provision of a support group and other such activities, services, advice and information as the trustees deem fit with the aim of facilitating the best possible care of such persons and raise awareness of myeloma.

General charitable purposes, at the same time to consider for the benefit of the occupiers for the time being of the Old peoples flats number 9-63 Norley Drive aforesaid and 47 to 85 Trapwood close Eccleston.Trustees do not accept any unsolicited applications

The Charity purchases additional specialist equipment for children with physical disabilities and complex medical conditions who attend Sandfield Park School.

Holding fund raising events for parents and children of the school. Money is used by the school for activity days for the children, books and other equipment

Meeting monthly at Rainhill ExServices Club

Undertakes engagements (concerts, fetes, church processions of witness, civic and civilian marches, Christmas festival activities) to raise monies for the Band expenses and assist other charities with their fundraising.Teaches both adult and young people to play brass instruments as members of the Training Band and encourages entry into the Associated Board music examinations.

The preservation and protection of health, both mental and physical, of those who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence and the prevention of hardship and distress caused by domestic violence and the advancement of education by providing a programme of counselling and support to those in need and promoting awareness of such to the public and supporting bodies.
