Members of Girlguiding Staffordshire are encouraged to "learn by doing" through the "Guiding Method" which has five distinct elements.

We are a community church with extensive pastoral and community activities

Our early years settings of Kingsley and Dilhorne provide a safe, secure and simulating environment to enhance the children's development within the statutory framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families, in a parent involving community-based group. We also work alongside the onsite primary schools to provide an extended hours wraparound service and Holiday Club.

The promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England, within the Ecclesiastical Parish of St. Bartholomew, Penn, Wolverhampton. The PCC has the responsibility of co-operation with the incumbent in achieving this objective.It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church Hall and the house at 105, Brenton Road.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for beneficiaries within the area of benefit.

Saving lives in wild and remote places

The charity promotes orchestral concerts and piano recitals.

Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Regular public worship open to all. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral and Outreach work in local schools. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

To support the College by, in particular:(1) receiving requests from the Governing Body of the College for financial assistance for the development of the College not funded by the Learning & Skills Council; (2) the provision of the College site and the sports field ('The Green Fields') for the purposes of the College; (3) enhancing the resources of the Charity for the benefit of the College.

The trust operates the Apedale Valley Light Railway and is developing a narrow gauge railway museum at Apedale Heritage Centre, Chesterton, Staffordshire.

To provide respite for families with disabled children by providing high quality sports arts and play activities. We help disabled children and young people access play, arts and leisure activities. Disabled volunteer project. Parent / carer support group.

4 All Foundation is a charitable organisation delivering local and accessible opportunities throughout our communities in Shropshire. Our activities are varied that include sporting, arts & crafts, environmental and educational.

The prinicpal activities is to provide relief of sickness, distress and poverty and enhancement of life, of members of Afro-Caribbean and Asian Community affected by the disorders of Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia, within Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas. Work with families identified by Staffordshire County Council through their 0-19 Family Support Service - offering support and guidance

Environment/Conservation/Heritage

Harvey Girls offers support to young parents in East Staffordshire aged 14 and above. We run a range of group sessions with activities aimed at developing parent and life skills. We also offer one to one outreach work for any service users with additional needs. We support young fathers through our Dads 4 Dads project which offers support in a group session focusing on developing parenting skills

Restoring the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals, thereby creating a green and blue corridor for the benefit of our local and wider community and make them available for navigation.

Provision of a Community Transport service for the residents of South Derbyshire who are in need of same as a result of age, sickness or disability, or due to a lack of provision of adequate and safe public passenger transport.

Advancement of the Christian Faith worldwide in accordance with the doctrines set out in the statement of faith.Relief of poverty, sickness and distress by the provision of such things as financial support, medical missions, rehab centres, food, befriending service, advise, scholarships, mentoring and counselling.
