We organise and provide wheelchair-accessible outings for elderly & disabled people to help prevent people from becoming socially excluded

The Stafford and District Choral Society practice to perform three concerts a year. Two are their own for the general public which they finance themselves. One is a charity concert at Christmas from which they give donations to two charities. The final concert is part of the Stafford Music Festival. The aim of the society is to encourage participation from anyone who enjoys music and singing.

Lions Youth Brass is a volunteer led, non-profit organisation and our purpose is to educate for the public benefit young people in the South Cheshire North Staffordshire area, and to give them the opportunity to learn, play and perform in a brass band environment.

To provide professional and immediate response to search and rescue calls from Staffordshire Emergency Planning Department to assist the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in order to save lives and render assistance as required in Staffordshire and adjacent counties. To assist and liaise with other voluntary bodies wherever required.

Maintenance and upkeep of the Village Hall which is to benefit the local community by providing a venue for a variety of social activities.

The provision of training, skills development, work placement activities, mentoring, advice and practical support for vulnerable adults to improve health and wellbeing; helping to prevent people from becoming socially isolated and excluded by assisting them on their journey of change.

Red Street Community Centre provides facilities for all the local community and surrounding areas in Newcastle-under-Lyme.This is done by being run by a management committee made up of volunteers.A small fee is charged to pay for bills, maintenance and continuing upgrading of facilities available

Village Hall

The trust administers six small retirement dwellings (three pairs of semi-detached bungalows) for people from Uttoxeter and district who need them. They also rent out a building for the use of community based groups and meetings.

The Education of the general public in the appreciation of music and the arts.

The Guide Association, as part of a worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fufil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteers. This charity owns and provides a Brownie and Guide Holiday House and a Brownie and Guide Campsite for use by all members.

Grant Making

For public benefit- the provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Swynnerton and surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for:-(a) Meetings, lectures and classes; and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants

OUR OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES ARE TO STAGE TWO MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY EACH YEAR.

Church Activities, religious, social and personal. Area of Operation: Oakamoor and District in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Management of Tutbury Old School, home to Tutbury Pre-school, Tutbury & Hatton Scout Group and other community groups. We aim to manage and maintain this vital facility for the community of Tutbury.

The trustees have maintained a programme of support for: (1) Christian relief organisations, overseas mission agencies and projects; (2) Schemes for relief of poverty and sources of poverty within the Midlands; (3) Support for local church mission projects, primarily within Derbyshire.

Fund-raising for School

The City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra exists to promote, advance and improve public education in and appreciation of music. The CSSO achieves these goals through the presentation of public concerts, the provision of educational and other community engagement programmes and through other projects such as school workshops.
