To provide a facility for sporting activities for the people of Wilnecote and its surrounding areas.

Provision of a free to enter Museum Gallery which showcases the military and social history of The Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire's Cavalry from 1689 to the present day.Provision for family research and an on site educational research facility.Preservation and conservation of artefacts and archival material.

We are in the process of taking the lease on a plot of land to convert into a community garden. This work has been delayed due to the Covid-19 crisis. We are working in partnership with BBC DIY SOS to have the work completed by the end of November 2020, subject to there not being a second wave of Covid-19 and a further lockdown.

Provide buildings/facilities/open space for people of all ages to pursue educational, recreational and leisure activities. Operating in Stonnall and the surrounding areas.

Operates and maintains the community centre building and grounds enabling playgroup for infants and children, dance classes, sport and recreation clubs for special interest groups and a club for the elderly. Used for childrens parties, local elections.

Stanton Village Hall provides a community building for physical and mental training, and the recreational, social, moral and intellectual development of inhabitants of Stanton and the immediate vicinity. The Hall hosts activities such as tai chi, karate, keep-fit, and support groups. It hosts the local defibrillator and runs community activities (litterpicks, village social events).

Waterfall Educational Charity runs the former village primary school for the benefit of the local community, providing a venue for local community groups such as the WI, the Waterfall and Winkhill Association and others. The hall is rented out for a diverse range of arts events and charitable fund raising evenings.

We raise funds for the children of Werrington Primary School. These funds are used for equipment for the school & educational trips for the children. Money is raised by such activities as fetes, bingo evenings, sales, bag to school etc.

To promote and assist the work of the Church of England in the Diocese of Lichfield by supporting parishes in correct and lawful stewardship of investments and property, and the trustees of local ecclesiastical trusts in the administration and management of the trusts whose assets are vested in the Diocesan Trust as Custodian Trustees. Therefore the Charity does not have assets or liabilities.

We organise and run community events in Penkridge and the surrounding area to raise money to benefit local charities, community groups and/or good causes. We run a fun run/fun day, Santa sleigh tour, music tribute nights, comedy nights and sportsman evenings.

Supports this regional Army Cadet Force, they being part of a national youth organisation that aims to inspire young people to achieve success in their lives, through partaking in challenging adventurous, community and military activities

THE CHARITY IS REQUIRED UNDER ITS DEED OF GRANT TO MAKE CERTAIN GRANTS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. IN ADDITION IT MAY USE THE BALANCE 'IN PROMOTING SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA COMPRISING THE BOROUGH OF STAFFORD (AS AT 31ST MARCH 1974) AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT'.

Emotional and suicidal support services

Providing horse riding lessons for disabled children and adults.

The charity is a choral society of approximately 60 amateur singers, led by a professional musical director. It presents a minimum of three public concerts annually, often with professional singers and instrumentalists. The repertoire covers a wide range of classical and light classical music. The society is currently developing plans for the creation of a Youth Choir.

Provides facilities for village organisations to meet e.g. Keele Parish Council, Keele Garden Club, fitness groups, Keele Parish Church meetings, wedding receptions, birthday parties, funeral wakes etc.

Our goal is to work with residents of Bancroft and surrounding areas to improve our local community. We do this in a variety of ways, offering free training to help tackle unemployment in the area, community fun days and trips to help improve social cohesion and fun and stimulating evening clubs to provide the people of Bancroft with a fun social setting

Scouting

The objectives of the charity are the study and practice of choral music as a non-profit organisation in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas by means of public performance.

TO ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ART OF THE FILM TO PROMOTE ITS USE AS A RECORD OF CONTEMPORARY LIFE AND MANNERS, TO FOSTER THE STUDY AND PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF IT FROM THESE POINTS OF VIEW. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 3 OF MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION).

GRACE COVENANT CHURCH MEETS EVERY SUNDAY AT 1030 HRS.HOME FELLOWSHIP MEETINGS ARE HELD EVERY WEDNESDAY

Organise various fundraising events/activities throughout the year including a well supported Summer Fayre, family events such as chocolate bingo at Easter & Christmas. Host film nights, cake bakes, fashion show evenings etc. Run end of term events such as School Discos & Non-uniform days for all year groups. Offer pre-loved uniform rail throughout the year & seasonal item pop up swap shops.

Giving support to local good causes (within Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and environs)

Promoting the spread of liberal theology and the growth of the Christian life by establishing and nurturing congregations and Sunday Schools in and around East Cheshire (the historic county) which today is mainly Tameside and Staffordshire by providing practical support and advice and grant assistance to the member congregations.
