The Scout & Guide Group runs a number of Scout and Guide units for the children of Stockton Brook and the surrounding area. Our activities are normal Scout and Guide activities in association with the rules of the Scout Association and Girlguiding UK

RELIEF OF NEED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES ON THE ANCIENT PARISH OF SHENSTONE

The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance, or by giving or taking part in such musical events as the Committee recommends to the Choir, or competing at Music Festivals at the discretion of the Musical Director. To help such charitable institutions or purposes as the Committee shall determine.

To provide ,after consultation with the Governors of the schools concerned, special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the Local Education Authority for any secondary school in Stafford.Also for the benefit of persons under the age of 25 who are attending or have attended any secondary school in Stafford and who are in need of financial assistance.

To provide a social afternoon one day a week as a meeting place for elderly people to have a cup of tea, a chat, a game of bingo or such an activity from approx 2.15pm - 3.45pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Accommodation/housing for elderly, almshouses.

Rescue stray and abanded cats, re home etc

The charity provides financial assistance to the poor and needy residents of the parish of Gnosall, particularly the elderly but also children and young people. This assistance has included donations to nominated families and local charitable organisations including: Community Centre, Over 60's Club, First Responders, Voluntary Car Scheme, and Gnosall Parish Church.

The Association raises funds to provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at St Michael's CE (C) Primary School, which are not normally provided for by the local education authority. There are many activities arranged by the PTA for the children and parents to enjoy whilst also raising much needed funds.

Phoenix Counselling Service (PCS) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation providing a low cost counselling service which aims to provide professional counselling for adults in Burntwood, Lichfield and the surrounding area who do not meet the criteria for 1-to-1 CBT or counselling via the Psychological Wellbeing Service (PWBS), or other NHS provision, and who cannot afford private counselling.

Beeline Community Transport, which was set up in 1983, is based at The Partnership Centre, Atherstone and covers the whole of North Warwickshire. It has a team of volunteer drivers who use their own cars to provide a door-to-door transport service mainly to hospitals, clinics and other essential health services such as doctors' surgeries, chiropodists, dentists and opticians.

Promoting the principles of good citizenship through Lions Clubs International programmes as needed in the Stone Urban and Stone Hinterland areas focusing on the development of youth, the support of the aged and infirm, promoting healthy living and well-being awareness and encouraging like minded people to volunteer in support of our programmes.

Helping elderly nurses, whether registered or enrolled, of giving grants to nurses taking Post Registration or Enrolment courses and by providing aid to any nurse in distress who has worked in the qualifying area for a reasonable period

VARIETY OF FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THE IMPROVEMENT FO THE SCHOOL AND ENHANCE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PUPILS.

The main aim of the choir is to give concerts to raise funds for a range of organisations in the area. Two of the concerts are major events one of which enables us to support a very worthwhile organisation with a donation. The recipient body changes from year to year. The choir also provides an annual bursary to a Keele University music student.

The Memorial Hall is used for a variety of activities; including weddings, celebration parties, community events, keep fit classes, wakes, polling station.

The objects of the Charity are: to preserve for the benefit of the public the histoirc site known as Polesworth Abbey, and to advance the education of the public in the religious and histoircal significance of the said Abbey and its envorons.

Offley Hay Village Hall provides facilities for local organisations and residents to get together. Regular users include Bridge Club, Art Group, Men's Keep Fit, Tia Chi, Women's Institute and Ladies Circle. It is also used for one off hire e.g. parties, weddings, Caravan Club weekends etc..

We work with children & young people between the ages of 4 to 14 yrs. We use our facilities for meetings and get outdoors for adventurous and community activities. We do fundraising to maintain the building and support activity costs, pay our ground rent and everyday services. We hold occasional fundraising / sponsored events to supplement our membership fees.

Provide an evironmentally friendly, safe, community building for use by groups and individuals

Provision of a Village Hall with kitchen and toilet facilities. The hall has a stage and a store room. It is used for a wide variety of community activities including coffee mornings, craft classes, parish council, dog training, informal indoor sports, toddlers group, village markets, village festival. Also private hire functions, such as weddings, parties, meetings, study and school groups.

We raise funds and help organise events and activities to enhance school life for all pupils at Stafford Grammar School. Events include Christmas Fairs, Summer Fetes and concerts. Our funds are used to purchase equipment, run educational workshops, fund school trips, and support extra-curricular clubs for the benefit of pupils.
