Management of Wissett Village Hall

To preserve, restore, display, operate and maintain the London & North Eastern Railway Company class Y7 locomotive number 985.

Our mission is 'to equip refugees and migrants with the language skills needed to integrate into the local community and culture'.

The charity oversees the provision of a village hall and recreation ground for the benefit of the local population. It provides a venue for various classes, meetings of local organisations, public entertainments and private social events. The recreation ground is used for football matches and the annual church fete.

Provide assistance to member churches by way of grants, loans, publications etc.

Help Handicapped,disadvantaged children in the Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire area. Provide them with equipment or purchase equipment to make life easier,take children on trips/days out and entertainment

(1) Providing public orchestral concerts of the highest level of professionalism;(2) Providing music outreach activities in schools and colleges and with children and young people generally;(3) Wherever possible and desirable working in partnership or collaboration with other charitable and non-charitable organisations in order to better serve the widest possible public;(4) Such other means

Performances of orchestral music in East Anglia

Income used for the maintenance of the Fox and Goose, Sancroft Hall (both church properties), and the maintenance and adornment of the fabric of St Peter and St Paul Church of England Church, Fressingfield.

Helping the needy

Community Centre (Village Hall) - All kinds of Social Activities - Community Club, Occasional Dances, Social Evenings, Parties, Saturday brunches, Community Lunches. Polling station, Parish Council meetings and occasional use for professional training.

The Southwold Sailors' Reading Room was built in 1864 as a refuge for fishermen and mariners when not engaged at sea. Displays of a seafaring nature line the walls and fill glass cabinets. Pictures and portraits of local fishermen and seascapes, model ships and maritime paraphernalia offer a fascinating history of Southwold's connections with the sea.

The charity administers the village hall. Runs fund raising events. Advertises the property and its amenities. Runs a web-site to aquaint people with the hall.

To administer the upkeep and safe running of the village hall and comply with all health & safety, and government rules & regulations.

Use of the Village Hall by the inhabitants of the Parish including meetings, lectures, classes, indoor sports and, for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the social and general life of the inhabitants.

Variety of events to raise funds to support the learning of students at the school and to improve the learning environment of the school. This includes helping with the funding of extracurricular activities.The Foundation members also support the running of school events, providing refreshments as required.

Hiring out of village hall & grounds

We organise amateur theatre productions, workshops and other learning opportunities for anyone from our local community.

Stratford St Mary Christian Fellowship is a Rural Church supporting our local community.Sparks Kids Club ages 7-11 every Friday 5-6.30pmIgnotion Youth Club ages 12-16 every Friday 7.30-9.30pmWe also support Christians in Moldova & Pakistan through prayer & financial gifts.

We have supported many community projects for all age groups. We raise funds by holding Beer Festivals, Santa Sleighs and BBQ's

Our Charity's activities is the upkeep of the Village Hall. We put on various functions, and keep the hall in good repair.

We seek to provide a range of services for local Muslims to engage within the wider community of Bury St Edmunds & West Suffolk. We believe in putting people first and serving all communities, irrespective of faith, gender and ethnicity. We are for social inclusion, education, respect and are for building a tolerant and stronger Britain.

The Society raises public awareness of Round Tower Churches within the United Kingdom, promotes knowledge and understanding of the architecture and religious symbolism, and gives grants to help maintain them.

The charity awards grants with an emphasis on the promotion of research into kidney disease and arthritis/rheumatism; research into the prevention of still-birth and neonatal death; the relief of suffering due to cancer through the provision or nursing and practical assistance; the provision of assistance to the frail/elderly and infirm and preservation of woodland in the UK.
