The Trust holds property and land for the benefit of the inhabitants of the village, Walsham Le Willows in Suffolk. Income from those assets are used to both sustain the assets themselves and where surplus is available, to distribute in such manner as the trustees deem fit to meet local need.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of rabbits in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities in Cambridgeshire for the reception, care and treatment of such animals and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

The charity is divided into three branches:The general charity contributes exclusively to the benefit of the inhabitants of Felsham. The church charity contributes exclusively to the repair and maintenance of St Peter's Church, Felsham. The bread charity benefits the poor and necessitous people of Felsham according to circumstances.

Recreational facilities

1st Mendlesham Scout Group is part of the Scout Association (UK) delivering activities to young people aged between six and eighteen years of age in four Sections; Beaver Scouts, Cubs Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. These activities enable our members to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Charity is to share the values of Vedic Dharma and culture with localcommunity and to provide a place of worship/meditation for Hindu community.

Village Hall facilities for the use of the parish of Earl Stonham and the immediate vicinity.

The charity provides almshouse accommodation, not warden based, for ladies of pensionable age who reside in or have connections with Bungay, Suffolk.

The Lions Club of Stowmarket and District is a member of Lions Clubs International, the world's leading voluntary service organisation. The club organises fund raising events and donates money to other charities and needy individuals. Local community service projects are also undertaken.

Operating in Norfolk & Suffolk, members volunteer to use their personal 4x4 vehicles to support emergency services, NHS, Councils, other voluntary groups and charities with transport and other assistance in adverse weather conditions or when capabilities of 4x4 vehicles are beneficial

Maintenance of 6 Almshouse Cottages

Chivers Trust supports projects which provide live musical, theatrical or visual arts experiences to young people living in Norfolk and Suffolk.Priority is given to funding projects which target the most disadvantaged groups, and work to reach new audiences, especially groups who may not otherwise have access to the arts.

Administration of a community centre, the Erskine Centre, used by residents of the community, the villages of Chevington, Chedburgh, Depden & Rede, and by non-residents for dances, meetings, wedding celebrations etc. Administration of an annexe for the care and education of a pre-school organisation.

GRANT MAKING BODY USUALLY SMALL AMOUNTS TO VERY YOUNG OR THE ELDERLY AND USUALLY TO SMALLER LOCAL APPEALS FOR ASSISTANCE

PROVIDES AND MAINTAINS A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF STANTON VILLAGE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

The promotion and advancement of the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts, the giving of aid to the conservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public and the support and encouragement of young arts.

The charity established to enhance the community life of the inhabitants of East Bergholt. It is used regularly by local clubs and societies and hired by individuals for weddings, family gatherings and similar activities.
