Marlesford Community Council exists to promote activities within the parish which support all sections of our community. The main facility we support is the village hall.

BALC operates on the Norfolk-Suffolk boarder around Bungay. We raise money by various means so that we are able to help people of all ages and abilities who may need specialist equipment, financial or physical help. We will give donations to disaster funds organized by other Lions Clubs.All monies raised from the general public are used it help people in need.

To provide help for needy individuals in the village of Risby

We support a number of orphanages, schools and medical service provision in and around Kisumu. We raise the funds for this through charitable fundraisers and one off donations from individuals and groups.

The provision and maintainance of the village hall in Kelsale Cum Carlton for the use and benefit of the residents of Kelsale Cum Carlton for the use of meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants.

To promote the preservation for the public benefit of the historical features of Martlesham Heath Airfield including the WW2 Control Tower. The advancement for the public benefit by the provision of a museum and providing a learning environment and associated activities,

MANAGEMENT AND HIRE OF HALL

AS FIRST SUBMITTED ON REQUEST TO BECOME A CHARITYTO ENCOURAGE COMMUNITIES OVER SIX COUNTIES WITHIN THE ANGLIA REGION TO ENHANCE THEIR ENVIRONMENTWITH THE USE OF FLOWERS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS, BIODIVERSITY AND SUSTAINABILITY.

We are the 4th Ipswich Scout Group, running scouting activities for children between 6 and 14 years of age

The charity provides a Village Memorial Hall for the benefit of the local village community and others for recreational, educational and social purposes.

REGENERATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOCAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES IN WICKHAM MARKET AND ITS SURROUNDING HINTERLAND PARISHES

The charity operates a food bank, providing people in crisis with emergency food plus support to ensure they get the help they need to address their underlying cause of crisis. It also facilitates the provision of meals in school holidays to families that normally benefit from free school meals. It also acts to raise awareness about poverty and to influence positive change in the local community.

Teaching children and adults to participate in sport, mainly swimming

The ACE Project supports young people in Suffolk aged 16-24 who are suffering with mental health difficulties. We provide weekly wellbeing workshops, fitness sessions and 1:1 support to help young people Achieve, Connect and Enjoy for wellbeing.

Village community projects in aid of the people of Cockfield and amenities within the village

Religious services, theological training and missionary activities at home and abroad.

To fund raise by means of coffee mornings, quiz evenings, cream teas, mini-markets and an annual Grand Bazaar in order to fund the provision of comforts for patients and to provide finance to purchase equipment not provided by the NHS.

Hire of Hall and fund raising events

The aim is to provide a small and affordable venue for a variety of social and charitable events and activities to promote health and wellbeing.

Weekly art group, indoor bowls club, WI, private bookings, village hall commitee meetings, parish council meetings, (yoga/keep fit), hire of furnishings. NEA meetings, polling station. Fund raising ie drama, quiz nights, coffee mornings.

We are a multi-service regional organization to promote Chinese Music and traditional culture, a more active promotion of national culture in Britain and, by this interaction, to achieve mutual understanding, so that all ethnic communities have a harmonious relationship.Service includes: lunch club, tai chi class, dance & drummingworkshops, mandarin classes, teenage volunteer training and more.
