To relieve the suffering of Birds of Prey in need of care and attention, to provide and maintain rescue homes and other facilities for the reception, care and of such birds to promote humane behaviour towards Birds of Prey by providing care, protection, treatment and security for the birds who are in need of care and attention by reasons of sickness, maltreatment and to educate public

The charity operates a food bank, providing people in crisis with emergency food plus support to ensure they get the help they need to address their underlying cause of crisis. It also facilitates the provision of meals in school holidays to families that normally benefit from free school meals. It also acts to raise awareness about poverty and to influence positive change in the local community.

Maintaing the Parish Room for the use of the local community.

The charity is involved in a number of fundraising activities to support our grants process to children and their families affected by a brain tumour or brain cancer

We are the management committee for our village hall and adjoining playing field providing social and recreational facilities for all who wish to use them.

Teaching children and adults to participate in sport, mainly swimming

The Society was founded in 1925 and became a charity subsequently. Its main objective is to promote Chamber Music Concerts for the educational and artistic benefit of the Community and Members of the Society

The restoration, preservation, and maintenance, for the public benefit the historic vessels known as M.T. Kent and M.T. Fearnought and/or such other vessels as may come into the custody or ownership of the C.I.O. This is achieved via the efforts of volunteer deck and engine room staff. Based in No 1 Basin Chatham Maritime. We visit as many maritime events in the east and south east as possible.

We are a multi-service regional organization to promote Chinese Music and traditional culture, a more active promotion of national culture in Britain and, by this interaction, to achieve mutual understanding, so that all ethnic communities have a harmonious relationship.Service includes: lunch club, tai chi class, dance & drummingworkshops, mandarin classes, teenage volunteer training and more.

Provision of additional education to children aged 5 to 14 in the Ipswich area who have English as an Additional Language.

Provision of 3 Almshouses in the village of Wangford

The aim is to provide a small and affordable venue for a variety of social and charitable events and activities to promote health and wellbeing.

The 1st Woodbridge Scout Group is part of the Scout Association and belongs to the Deben Scout District in the Suffolk County. It provides Scouting activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as per the Scout Association guidelines. As well as residential experiences, events and fundraising

TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN FACILITIES AND OFFER SUPPORT PRIMARILY FOR THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING AND OTHER DISADVANTAGED MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, AND OFFER PREMISES FOR OTHER LOCAL CLUBS, GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS NEEDING FACILITIES FOR SOCIAL GATHERINGS ETC

Our PTA is based in Mildenhall, Suffolk. We work with staff, parents, caregivers and pupils at our school, as well as the local community putting on events to raise funds for the school. With funds raised, we aim to further the education of pupils, build a strong school community, and break down barriers.

Ipswich Dementia Action Alliance employs a part time worker to co-ordinate all of the activities of the Alliance. We meet as a Forum every 3 months to hear of the activities of businesses, organisations, groups, volunteers and people living with dementia that are helping to make Ipswich a dementia friendly place, as well as the needs identified by people living with dementia and their families.

Various fundraising events to raise funds to manage and maintain the village hall.

We are a Brass Band with members ranging from 6 to 70+ years with no upper age limit. We have a beginners group and players can then progress through our Preliminary and Intermediate bands to our Main band. We practice every week and provide instruments and training. We do at least four concerts a year and play at fetes and other similar events.

The Hallifax Trust provides grants and bursaries primarily for the primary school serving the parish of Shimpling, also for people under the age of 25 who either attended Shimpling School or whose parents live in Shimpling. If there are any funds left in any year not required for the above it may be used for charitable purposes for the general benefit of the residents of Shimpling.
