DONATES PROCEEDS TO EAST ANGLIAN AIR AMBULANCE, LEAGUE OF FRIENDS OF BECCLES HOSPITAL AND OTHER LOCAL, MEDICALLY-RELATED CHARITIES, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL APPEALS FOR EMERGENCY AID AND LOCAL APPEALS FOR HELP FOR POOR OR DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE.

To build and then operate a modern, vibrant, inclusive, accessible and welcoming facility for young people, artists and allage groups in the local community.

Promotion of lectures and study days aimed at educating the public in appreciating decorative and fine arts. Arranging visits to museums, galleries, collections and historic houses. Undertaking church recording work. Providing volunteers for heritage property guides. Giving financial aid to young arts. Contributing to national fundraising for fine art.

The Foundation assists in meeting the educational needs of children resident in Stonham Aspal or Pettaugh by making grants for purposes outside the remit of the Local Educational Authority. It maintains a residential bungalow, originally intended to provide a home for a village schoolmaster in Stonham Aspal.

To provide relief for those in need by reason of age, disability, financial hardship or any other disadvantage in Bury St Edmunds through the provision of volunteer-led trishaw rides and the delivery of food and other such essential items.

Providing, equipping and maintaining a workshop particularly but not exclusively for older men, within Halesworth and the surrounding area in which they can meet jointly or individually to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, learn or pass on skills and knowledge and support each other socially.

Operate and manage Metfield Village Hall including hiring of facilities, building maintenance, organisation and support of fundraising events and activities including Village Fete, Dances, Plays; Licensed Bar open two or three times a week

To promote interest in and provide education about the arts and culture.

The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development

We provide fun activities for children ranging from 6 years to 14 years, this is in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. These activities can be craft based, games based and we also go out into the community on hikes, camps and walks. The children can also work towards badges individually or as a group that helps them gain more confidence with; team work, communication and confidence.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Breckland and the surrounding areas by the provision of facilities for running and walking without distinction of age, sex, sexual orientation, race, physical ability, mental health, or of political, religious or other opinions; and to advance such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit.

Religious services for all ages, hospital visitation, liaise with authorities on behalf of the elderly, provide education services for children overseas, community music evenings, supporting local charities.

Relief of the poor

Promoting the permanent preservation for the benefit of the public generally and especially the inhabitants of the County of Suffolk of nature reserves of beauty, historic and ecological interest and scientific importance, in particularly, the natural flora of the County of Suffolk.

Polsted Village Hall Management Committee is responsible for the maintenance and letting of the building. In order to enhance the hall's financial well-being the committee runs fund-raising events. The committee also runs some social events which are of benefit to the community, e.g. Village lunch & digital cinema screenings.

We fund raise to provide support in the form of grants and payments for activities provided for 301 ATC cadets including such things as: Sports and games training costs, Training courses for personal development, Costs associated with gaining personal qualifications, Activity costs showing benefit to personal development & wellbeing and the provision and maintenance of equipment and training aids.

The Village hall is a small modern hall, completely refurbished in 2003. It is available for regular community group hirings and also for private use.

To enhance the quality and conditions of life for the members of the community residing in the Parish of Mendlesham (the Mendlesham Community) by the advancement of amateur sport, education and health for the public benefit of the Mendlesham Community. This to include supporting the provision of recreational facilities, playing fields, playgroups, a community centre and other amenities.
